Tristan spoke increasingly a different language to HW in interviews - about Lozar and others - and also was the team encourager from the touchline when HW was silent or ranting at officials or his own team. Maybe TL is off of Wheeler Dealers Christmas card list, but he deserves a chance, and hopefully isn't just holding out to return to HW when he blags some other unfortunate club to have him. Its a risk we take as there is no dream Manager with NL/League 2 experience to bail us out who hasn't been fired for failure and wouldnt cost a fortune.

Couldn't score, couldn't pass or cross. Great dribbler, usually into a corner post. Shields is far better. I thought DSY could have been given longer. I would prefer shields but the club won’t be held to ransom by Ebbsfleet for him. Loza is in good form and we can’t really ask for mor unless they find a better alternative. DSY had plenty of time, two seasons in fact. Second season he was awful and has now gone two leagues below.. Being held to ransom ? Offering £400 for Shields for the remainder of the season is taking the pee is it not ?

Is Coker still in the reckoning or have Dartford got him for the rest of the season?

Is Coker still in the reckoning or have Dartford got him for the rest of the season? I know a couple of Dartford season ticket holders and they have not been impressed with him or Greenhalgh. Said Wynter has been the best of our old players! I was surprised by that.

Didn’t have the desire Agreed. You can see why he didn't "make it" at Palace. I actually said the same of Phillips earlier this season but he has really knuckled down and looks decent now.

Really impressed with how he's improved - especially being so obviously played out of position.

He's a different player altogether. Really impressed with how he's improved - especially being so obviosly played out of position. Phillips had his moments last year and there was one game that particularly impressed me (I think it was Wrexham away), but he has certainly come on this year.
As for being obviously played out of position, I'm not so sure that we haven't just found his best position - from the games I've seen he looks good in that position and I haven't seen much criticism of his performances from the games I've not seen.
Credit where it is due - it was under the reign of HW that he was moved into the RB position.

One out of two (Palace youngsters) isn't bad. Agreed, Phillips looked lost / bored / left behind on the first day of the season, but it's great news that he's progressed so much in the last 5 months.

KM's Craig Tucker reports that Terry has given L&W permission to look for a couple of new players, as replacements for Shields and Cassidy, it seems. Right noises again being made about not rushing in and giving current players a chance. Nothing about Loza though...

More likely to be that the squad is so thin that we desperately need new players, not so much replacements. With Cassidy gone (and presumably playing against us), we will have almost no one on the bench other than Walton and Robinson - Hartlepool could be a nightmare.

We also may suffer with complacency if the players know their spot is not going to be taken! I would hope not, but they are human and most have not been here long and would no doubt get a wage elsewhere

Hey don,t forget we have Jack Richards the player no manager wants.
