I am reading that Jamar Loza's loan deal to Woking expires on 5th January. Crunch time. We either call him back or he leaves on a permanent deal but what should the club do ? I'm guessing that most supporters would like to see him back in the Black and Amber.

I reckon they will see what happens with the FA cup game and then make a decision, it’s a bloody big game so as much as he may want to come back if there’s a replay he may want to hang around for that

When our loanee keeper fisted the Borehamwood player for their penalty my mind wandered to the oft commented on, flapping of Worgan. From that I pondered on the fact that Lee didn't miss a league game for us for ever - or so it seemed - and this season we've already had 3 keepers and presumably we'll need to use a 4th? But that's a way off yet, Sutton away on 22nd April. Fisted, no wonder the BW player limped away

We may be about to discover how tight the finances are.

As I stated on another thread, the finances are only tight because there is no point splashing the cash when there is no chance of promotion until the EFL change their minds about 3G.

I might of missed something what’s happened with Swaine? Didn’t see him at the open training session today.
Lewis said the club and Ebbsfleet were some distance apart from what we were willing to pay and said how we need to have value. Still nothing concrete but possibly maybe someone else to come in rather than shields.

Nick without wanting to be a pessimist let us not forget that prior to Loza going to Woking he constantly failed to cover himself in glory. Yes he,s rediscovered some form but in lower leagues he may still struggle up against the big defenders we come up against week after week.

He need some players who can score and with the exception of a purple patch in March 2017 he hasn't scored many for us! We need to hang onto cassidy ...got the impression he loves it here and he's just started scoring!

Sheilds was on loan from Ebbsfleet (just ended I think) as was subject to the comment you mention above - Ebbsfleet want silly money and we won't pay it, but it sounded like negotiations are still open ; I did though also get the same drift as you that there might be someone who can do the same job but for less money.
As for Rob Swaine - he is actually on a Stones contract. I don't think I saw him today (but I could be wrong??) He was available for selection on Saturday following his Boxing Day red card being chalked off, but when not selected (not even on the bench) he apparently made a controversial tweet (I didn't see it before it was deleted.) Reading back to his signing he definitely seems to be one that "came for Harry" so I wonder if there has been a falling out since HW's departure?
