That's nothing. Nick heard it in the car park six months ago. Despite John Still being the short odds on favourite for the job, if you still give credibility to car park rumours, there is a suggestion that Daryl McMahon may still be in the running. His name hasn't been mentioned recently but - - - - Yeah but look who was sitting with bill tonight

Presumably, Heyrettin took Braintree up from NLS, so he is brought in to do it again if we go down, while Still is the last throw of the dice to keep us up? Makes a certain amount of sense, I suppose, but then phrases like making silk purses out of sows' ears, or the difficulty in polishing a turd also spring to mind. Good luck whoever takes over. You're going to need it.

It was another manager who took them back up and he only resumed the reigns in a caretaker role last autumn. So in summary, no NLS promotions but an NL relegation to his name. Is that what we are looking for?

Seems like there won't be anything new for the club website to say about the new managerial appointments.

Just a thought on Tristan Lewis. Seemed a really decent bloke who has probably burnt his bridges with Harry Wheeler.
No contract with Stones so he is literally out of work today. It's tough. Wish him the very best.
In the meantime the Wheeler Dealer who was on contract is probably laughing all the way to the bank.
No justice.

He and Jay would make a good team - both nice guys

As Tristan wants a manager's job (as opposed to assistant manager), maybe he should think about applying for anything that comes up in the Bostik or NLS and take it from there. Let's hope he gets something and does well.

Genuinely had a dream last night I had a knock at my bedroom door by the wife early in the morning to inform me the new Maidstone coach has popped around to introduce himself. Apparently his name was Bob Hope. I asked him what his role was and he just said “a bit of this and a bit of that”.
The fact Bob Hope died in 2003 I’d rule this out.

Did he give any clues as to how he intends to get us scoring goals?
