Overall, I make it at least 80, yes really, pages devoted to HW over the last few weeks. Whatever are we going to post about now? A new manager should keep things going for a bit, but hopefully we'll be celebrating some success in the league now, starting at BW. With the shackles off, might we now expect a proper performance for a change? It will certainly be a real test of whether our new players really are any good. Here's hoping COYS!

Really. They couldn’t wait to get away Seth didn't want to go, not did Finney, they just wanted a decent chance of playing. Once you were out of favour with Harry you were just frozen out of the team. Worgs was looking out for his future and Dover offered him security. If we'd offered him a similar deal he would've stayed. Nicely put daveu As you say we never had to lose Seth or Finney, they knew HW wanted rid - such a shame. Stu Lewis didn't want to play for Harry and who can blame him. Worgs is Stones through and through. He should have been offered the deal he got a Dover. Loza clearly has too many tricks in his game to suit hoofball harry. HW has ripped the squad to pieces - really destructive - but what is done is done. Only thing in his favour are some decent recruits (not all) but too many underperforming individually and collectively. So much to be done. The playing squad is decent even if performances are not. At least today's events are a definite and positive step in the right direction for the club.

On paper, HW had assembled a decent enough squad, he just didn’t have a clue how to use the players at his disposal. A decent manager can get this bunch playing good football, as a team, to achieve results. Its not too late YET, but we need to start getting results very quickly.

Will the new manager do a press interview talking about 'the mess' he inherited?

Sorry to poop the party, but I never liked him from the beginning, he talked a good game, but there was something missing. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and even (briefly) thought he might be the right man after Barnet. But that didn't last long, and it was soon clear that he just wasn't up to the job. It feels like he ripped my club apart and now we have to rebuild from the mess he's left behind. Very glad that he's gone. As for the squad he 'built',I have my doubts there too. If they are that good, how do we explain the last few games - just a poor manager? But, as always, I trust I'm wrong and I'll be there tomorrow, hoping to see a new beginning and the start of the great escape. Nots County were the first team I saw the Mighty Hammers play, and I really, really want to see us playing them at JWW next season. So who will your next vendetta be against? As i have seldom seen a positive post from you. Perhaps you should try reading all my posts? I do not have any vendetta against anyone - Harry was a huge mistake, some of us knew that from the beginning. I was neutral towards him and then positive, only when it bacame obvious that he was a disaster did I become negative - entirely deserved. Go back before Harry and you will find generally positive posts from me. I have supported MUFC since 1980 and rarely been negative about the club - even when the old club died. But this last few months, since the sacking of Jay, have been an absolute disaster. Why on earth should I not be nagative about that?

When Jay went, those of us who thought he should have been treated better were constantly attacked by a few on here for daring to express our views.
Now we have the same few attacking the posters who didn't want Harry.
Jay was one of (if not the) best managers this club has ever had, and was very badly treated, Harry was a huge mistake, who has almost single-handedly ruined the club, and has rightly been sacked. Can they not see the difference?

He'd get exactly the same reaction, for exactly the same reasons. The fault was not the people reacting, it was the person giving the interview. Don't blame the messenger.

It will be very interesting to see what starting XI is selected tomorrow as it should give some indication of Tristan & Simons's view on the current squad of players and tactics. Will Richards be on the bench (if fit) and given a chance?

Can they not see the difference? Your correct that Saunders was a good manager but to say he was very badly treated by the club is both harsh an unfair in my opinion. The club stuck by him during that poor poor run of form over 30 odd games on top of all the poor players he added to the squad whatever the budget he may of had he wasted it. So that was why the got rid of Saunders.

I'm not sure that such abandonment of a club you considered to be a 'mockery of the old club' could be considered anything other than negative

With Jay's sacking I was disappointed at the time, both for him and the club. Harry's sacking is very different. I think I feel relieved more than anything.
