Sorry to poop the party, but I never liked him from the beginning, he talked a good game, but there was something missing. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and even (briefly) thought he might be the right man after Barnet. But that didn't last long, and it was soon clear that he just wasn't up to the job.
It feels like he ripped my club apart and now we have to rebuild from the mess he's left behind. Very glad that he's gone.
As for the squad he 'built',I have my doubts there too. If they are that good, how do we explain the last few games - just a poor manager?
But, as always, I trust I'm wrong and I'll be there tomorrow, hoping to see a new beginning and the start of the great escape.
Nots County were the first team I saw the Mighty Hammers play, and I really, really want to see us playing them at JWW next season.

Yes agreed re those four, although I’d say Finney was worth keeping as he does have the potential. The other three (Worgs, Lewis and Seth) WERE all accident prone and in the case of Worgs and Lewis they both CHOSE to move on. And are more than replaceable.

Worgan - accident prone Seth - accident prone Finney - accident prone Lewis - accident prone Name a player at our level who isn't "accident prone". They all had their faults, but they all gave far more to the team.

Certainly no gloating from Fleet, we've been there and got the Tee shirt with Jamie Day. Wheeler was never the right man, though. It's a tough league, and the best managers are the gnarled and wise old campaigners such as Hessenthaler Hill, Still etc. McMahon might not be a bad shout or even Kinnear.

As i have seldom seen a positive post from you.

Yes of course everyone can be accident prone, even the Premier League “stars”, but Seth and Worgs has both been calamitous on more than one occasion. You can see where Shamstone is going with that post, he’s not wrong.

And calamitous defending on many occasions since they left hasn't convinced you that in the main, their replacements are no better. At least they had an emotional connection to the club. The new lot don't give a monkeys.

I agree Dave, defence still isn’t right. I didn’t say or imply it was..... Wassmer isn’t the answer, nor is Swaine. George at LB is ok, Phillips at RB works ok as a stop gap but it’s not his best position. It’s the central defence that needs most immediate attention at the moment, Will de Hav lost confidence this season I think, needs an experienced head alongside him right now.

Once you were out of favour with Harry you were just frozen out of the team. Worgs was looking out for his future and Dover offered him security. If we'd offered him a similar deal he would've stayed.

Interestingly, Hartlepool Mail quoted 'ex Maidstone boss Harry wheeler was sacked yesterday' why are we the last to know?

Don't know about it needing real guts to pull our squad apart - foolish in my view He needed around 5 players at the most to turn things around I've lost count but it must be around 10-12 new signings. We should never have lost Worgan - surely he could have been offered the same deal as Dover. Seth - Another we should have kept Finney - Another we should have kept Lewis - Another we should have kept Loza - Another Coker - Another But at least these 2 could be reclaimed So much damage has been done by HW ! Shame. At least he has recruited some decent players but they have hugely underperformed with his mediocre hoofball tactics. Over to you now Simon and Tristan and good luck! I used the term 'real guts' because it could of gone either way and he would of immediately known the consequences if he failed would impact heavily on his next appointment. A lot of inexperienced managers would of stuck with what they had and tried to man manage them a little better but Harry went for glory and ultimately failed.
Let's see what the next manager thinks of the team because i'm pretty sure he will have to work with them for the remainder of the season, we can't bring someone else in and have 19 odd changes in 3 months that's for sure! Although we do seem light up front again unless we bring back Loza. Anyone know the extent of Robinson's injury? With Cassidy off soon that leaves us with just one option.

Anyway now is now. It’s about Maidstone not me or you COYS
