Classic. He’s good enough to play the league above and has great potential. So the obvious thing is to let him go FOR FREE. A loan would of been a better option.
HW is a f**king clown

Beyond pathetic. We gift away a strong, talented, very quick player like Finney and end up with Swaine. Great swop, well done Harry.

Apparently we need “been there and done it players” which apparently Finley isn’t. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t he come from a football league club? What we need is a been there and done it manager not a been no where done nothing manager. This gets worse by the day. Still not had the nuts to talk about the Dover fiasco?

I would presume his silence ref. yesterday's match is because his position is being reviewed. Wouldn't surprise me if Oliver, Bill and Terry are sitting round a table discussing his position today.

Was Finney not under contract? If so why would the owners allow a asset to go for free.

Was Finney not under contract? If so why would the owners allow a asset to go for free. Because we would have been one of the top earners and we need to free up that cash. No-one would have paid for him in the form he was in. As to why he didn't go on loan, I don't know. Maybe the parent club still has to contribute to the wages?

Finney did come from QPR but he didn't make a single appearance there. He had played about 100 minutes of senior competitive football before joining the Stones on loan last season.

Let us not forget that Finney would of had the option of saying NO to a move away from the club, in the battle we face I would only want players who want to play an fight for the club.

Especially as people on this forum were calling for him to be dropped from the team.
