But Harry said the revolving door is now closed and he is happy with the squad or was that just another untruth for us to argue about.

f**k me. Now we're trying to bring back players who were with us so briefly I don't actually remember them!
The 'clown' epiphet is growing increasingly more accurate, as we are clearly turning into a circus.

Whatever our individual feelings are about the club, the manager, team selection etc. Dover away is one occasion where we all have to pull together and make maximum noise to support the players. Although the away section @ Crabble is notorious for trapping noxious gasses, it does provide a fantastic stage for singing & acoustics for noise making. So let's set aside differences, and f*****g sing. At the least, we must be able to keep 'The Great Escape' going for 20 minutes or so, and what more appropriate song is there in our current state ?

Agree porky, beautiful or ugly football, lucky or unlucky, good referee or shocking referee, win, lose or draw, 100% support for the team on Boxing Day is a must !

Really hope we turn it around at Dover but I will not be attending. A combination of not being arsed to go due to the way we are playing and being caged in the corner of the ground is the reason for me.

You will have to give 200% as I alas cannot get there as I am unable to drive on medical grounds otherwise I would Nick next doors Beemer and join you.

As per Gateshead, we need one of two things. Either a big defeat to hasten the end of HW's reign. Alternatively, a big win that will kickstart our recovery. Sadly, suspect neither will happen. More likely a narrow defeat, stemming from lousy refereeing. Even a draw only prolongs the agony. Want to believe, but haven't seen anything so far this season that gives me hope. The Wrexham game offered brief hope, but Eastleigh scuppered that. We can only win cup games, it seems. Wonder why that is?

Got heavy loss for the stones written all over it, the Maidstone rejects will want to get one over on Harry Wheeler and rightfully so...

I certainly am the same, although not necessarily down to how we are playing (though that really doesn't help!) but the crap experience at Dover, used to enjoy away days there but last year was the first time I went since segregation came in and it was awful. Got back on the coach and the first thing I said to my partner was "not coming here again". Looking forward to seeing the ex stones on new years day though... 😣 Merry Christmas to you all!

Certainly not in a minority about the delights of a visit to Dover. What a disappointing Boxing Day fixture. It is the absolute pits. A toilet of a ground. Horrible stewards, diabolical catering and disgusting toilets. You get penned in a cage after a God awful trek for away supporters who are always made to feel unwelcome. Why is it always so damned windy ? Nothing to look forward to but I will be there with a few mates but less than last year, unsurprisingly.

I'm 50/50 for the Dover game at Crabble but 100% at Grimtown v Mansfield on NYD. 5th Jan trip to Hartlepool...I don't think so.
It's a shame about Dover away. It used to be a great fixture and the two sets of fans got on really well. Segregation...pah!

The fact several of their fans mingled amongst the torquay away fans at the Gallagher last season, just to cause trouble and got ejected by the police has not helped matters

There is a lot at stake today.. as fans we have seen our team dismanted and have yet to fall in love with our new squad. Many of our recent faves will be wearing the white of Dover and that will be hard to take. What I dont want to see happen is what usually happens in Kent derbies..we are out fought by a team that wants it more. I fear this is what will happen..
Yet today is also a great opportunity for Harry and the team to prove us all wrong and play like we know they should given their obvious talent. Player for player our squad looks stronger but it will be attitude that wins on the pitch.
Coys!!
