You can win at IP level, even NS level, by going full-time, bringing in higher level players, getting them fit, and coaching them - after all, most of those you're playing against are part-timers, playing for 'fun'.
But it doesn't work at NL level. At our level, everyone has good, full-time, fit players and good coaching - unless you can afford to buy in EFL players, your only chance is a manager who can build a team that wins games.
Harry is just doing what he did at IP/NS, and, unsurprisingly, it isn't working.

We won’t get much out of Boreham Wood. Luke Garrard. Now there’s a manager who brings the best out of his players, and sets his team up to adapt to the opposition game by game. I’ve seen them twice this year, away to Solihull where they got an impressive draw the week after they hammered us...and then yesterday when they beat Leyton Orient. They are a world away from us in terms of tactics and managing a game. Away to them? Nil points.

He played at the top level and has probably some good contacts. The only experience HW had was managing in a lower level. He never played at a good level. Maybe our next appointment should be someone that has experience in this level or give a young manager a chance that has played at the top level and has some good contacts.

Actually Harry does have some experience of the NL now, let's hope he has learned a lot!

It's not what you learn it's how you adapt and put it into practice.

It's not what you learn it's how you adapt and put it into practice. Some might say that he's learnt how to lose in the NL and is putting that into practice regularly
