Club joining NLS.. get rid of a prolific NLS striker...to a potential promotion rival for next season. Good logic

Good logic JS likes younger players, maybe Robinson at 32 is too old for him, we have also been paid a “fee” for him! From what I have seen of Robinson and Embury so far, which is not a lot maybe Embury is a better option. Financially Robinson leaving must be a good thing and Embury is costing sweet FA!

From National League website:
Jake Robinson is a Billericay Town player once again after following manager Harry Wheeler back from Maidstone United.
The free-scoring striker signed for the Stones for an undisclosed fee earlier this season as he went the same way as his former boss.
But his move didn’t work out with the club stranded in the National League’s bottom four.
Now he’ll wear Billericay’s blue again and he is looking to add to his 13 goals he scored before leaving the club in December.
He said: “To be honest I never wanted to leave in the first place.
“I thank Maidstone for taking a chance on me but this is where my heart it and it’s like coming home.
“Now we want to finish off what we started right at the beginning of the season.”

Big club sacks manager, with no replacement lined up.
Manager falls out with loony, shouty (rich) owner of small club, and resigns.
Big club takes on ex-small club manager.
Ex-small club manager buys players from loony, shouty (rich) man's club.
Ex-small club manager systematically destroys bigger club.
Ex-small club manager sacked.
Loony, shouty (rich) owner of small club mysteriously makes up with ex-manager and takes him back on.
Small club manager brings in ex-big club players who he had previously frozen out at big club.
Small club manager buys back ex-small club managers from big club.
Small club replaces big club in National League.
Job done. Loony, shouty (rich) man and ex-big club manager piss themselves laughing.

I think you're right. Who knows if Romaine or Cassidy will be here next season so it must of come down to a choice of Robinson and Embury. Personally I would give Embury a chance next year, he's young, talented and in a league that he might step up to. Robinson requires wingers to pump crosses all game to be effective and we just don't do that so best to do it now than wait until the season has finished.

Don't think he'll be choosing Robinson...

Based on what he did in NLS for the circus club : a good signing, was probably worth a shot
Based on what he did for us : Good riddance, proved he wasn’t at NL level.
I’m hoping this is a sign that we’re going to keep hold of Cass instead ??

Just about sums up the whole miserable nature of the season.

“It feels like I’ve just been out on loan for a few months and hopefully we can still turn this into a successful season.”
I'm not a naturally ungenerous or nasty person, but I thought some pretty bad thoughts when I read this...

Get him in swaines cyro freeze chamber and lock the doors. I want him frozen like Han Solo in carbonite before hanging him proudly on the wall of the Spitfire. The remainder of the team bar one or two can have dinner with the mighty Sarlack

Post of the season so far indeed it is, but are you suggesting it was actually a game plan? If so, can we sue?

i think the 'age factor' comments ,and Mr Stills preference for a younger group of players are well made .
Is it just me who finds it slightly unusual that on your official site, the club mention that the departing player is 32 . (what would that normally have to do with anything ? )
