Finished with eight yellows, on my count. As for the game, we weren't terrible, thank goodness, but never looked liked getting a result. Good to see Pax and George back, Cassidy and Romain worked hard, as usual, but not sure where any goals are coming from. Note to Harry for Monday's training. I counted 30 long, aimless balls pumped forward in the second half. Just four reached one of our players and only one lead to an attacking move. Percentage wise, this is not a good return. Perhaps we could try something else instead?

Finney has been bad for ages, time for a change. Thought he was excellent last year, not this year

Disappointed with Smith for the first goal. He was rooted to the line for a free kick that wasn't or at least shouldn't have been. Lots of huffing and puffing from Stones but the Oldham goal was never going to be blown down. Harry has managed to get together a team that works hard and scraps for possession. Just a shame that we still can't defend set pieces and show more quality moving forward. Better performance than the last couple but that's not saying a lot.

I didn't expect us to win the game but I was optimistic for the performance. Not as bad as Tuesday that's for sure but absolutely no desire to actually play football. For all the positive talking, Harry's tactics are no better than we played in Ryman Premier.

Fair result and Oldham were among the best away fans since returning home; up there with champions Lincoln. In the league, only Dagenham won in the bottom third, but Dover now within a point of us. Almost halfway through the season, I saw enough to think we can grind out results, but it has to start now.

I cannot fault the effort but to be honest we were hopelessly inadequate in all departments. Oldham are not a great side but they closed us down very quickly giving us no room. The luck was once again against us with another deflected goal i feel a bit of sympathy for Finney. In the end our only tactic was the order of the hoof and 90% of the time it was to no-one in particular,The worst offender being Smith. Djurojaye is out of his depth at this level. Not a lover of McLennan but was comfortably our best defender today. The ref was no better or worse than any other ref but did allow too much time wasting by Oldham. All in all disappointing but better than i thought it would go as i Really expected a spannering. Back to league action next week but where are the goals coming from?

Personally, i think that we were the better team playing wise, they were better at taking dives and acting injured

Harry's tactics are no better than we played in Ryman Premier. Our current tactics are even worse. At least in our ryman days when we hoofed the ball it actually got near to one of our players....now we just hoof the ball to the opposition.

Good analysis, but surely Harry with all his scientific support, will be aware. Not only is this humping and chasing ineffective, it is actually rubbish to watch. Harry, PLEASE can we have more quality in our attacking play Too much to ask ?
