In Blair we have a player who is capable of turning a game with his pace and magic. What we would like to see is a Blair that passes when others are in a better position to have a chance it is so frustrating .

If he had that on top of his other undoubted ability he wouldn't be playing in this league.

We are blessed to have such a rare talent with us.
It is up to the manager to tell him how he wants him to play.

Brilliant as he has been, I wonder if opposition sides are starting to suss him out. Got very few chances the last two games and while he has a great engine and wonderful skill, I wonder if he has the physical presence? Equally, few players score every game, so hopefully he will be back in the goals at H&W. We are lucky to have him.

Can he not read the situation on his own then People used to have a go at Worgan about how he distributed the ball. Maybe he was following team orders. For all we know, Blair may have been told to be a little selfish and get the goals we need right now. We simply don't know.

Whilst opponents are crapping themselves over what he might do, others will get more space. Has a deeply impressive presence on social media as well, a different person, seems to be, from the notorious chap we signed. Put it down to lifestyle choices and faith.

Personally I think it would be brilliant if other teams put 2 men marking him because that would free up space for the others to attack. In relation to him passing instead of shooting I,d be a tad concerned that that might stifle his natural goal scoring instincts. I know HW wants to encourage the team to shoot more during the matches.

Agree with most of what's been said, a couple of times yesterday though he should've read the situation better. Players were in decent positions and he tried to do it all himself. He has kept us in it this season, but still needs to be a team player

It could be argued that a pass would have been the less riskier option just before shooting, when scoring his last couple of goals in open play. It would advantageous for him to mix his game up a little, if nothing else it would add an extra dimension to his play, and make defending that much more difficult for the opposition.

So Frustrating and so exciting, but spoils his game with selfish play. Since Harry came he has cut out the dribble dribble fall over Hey ref ! and really without his goals, we would still be in the drop zone.
Yesterday Romaine in open spaces on 2 good occasions and Cassidy had 3 clear runs at their goal -if Turgo had passed who knows?.
Good players make others play well and his efforts are supported by the team and appreciated by the fans- bit of maturity and using his skill to bring others into the game is needed- Hope Harry and Tris have an encouraging word in his ear C'mon Blair you have the skill you could be great!

It's a team game and as others have said, when the opposition target Turgott, it leaves room for Romain and Cassidy - the latter playing noticeably deeper at times on Saturday, which shows what an intelligent player he is. A couple of games from Romain terrorising defences and Turgott may well find he gets less attention again.

Under Jay Saunders the players including Blair were encouraged to pass the ball to someone in a better position who then passed it to someone else and so on and so forth until the attack fizzled out without a shot being taken hence we didn't score. HW wants them to shoot and so Blair shoots so let us not tell him not to shoot or we will go back to being known as Maidstone Nil.
