He seems to be doing what he promised, although it's still early days. Tomorrow and the Cup game will be good tests. Which team will turn out - the one who played at Barnet and the second half Macc, or the one that played the first half of the Cup game? Harry's clearly shown that he can build a good side and he can get them to play excellent football - just not all the time. If he can crack that and get them playing at their best all the time, then we can beat anyone. He's more or less got the fitness and technique side sorted out, and that will only get better. And he's pretty much got the team he wants. I think the key now is confidence and team work. If we can do well against Wrexham and Oldham, then the self-belief will be there and we'll be flying. Looking forward to it! I have to admit I thought T&O plus Bill made a wrong decision on bringing Harry Wheeler to the club but I am slowly being convinced that I was wrong. Harry still has a way to go to prove himself good enough for the job but has made a workmanlike start to the task.

Which is fair enough. For me, I was disappointed when the club parted company with the legend of Jay Saunders. But everything moves on and I'm pretty sure supporters will give Harry time and space to prove himself.
It's too early to judge now, we've seen a mix of team performances, some good and others not so good, Not 'job done' by a long way, but there are encouraging signs The fact is, all proper supporters want Harry to prove himself, Because if he does, it will be happy days for the club at the season's end.

Odd how the car park gossip has dried-up since Jay's departure.

Interesting feature on the BBC sport website about Eddie Howe and Bournemouth's rise from nowhere to above Man Utd in just ten years. Parallels are drawn with Pep Guardiola, but there are interesting lessons for Maidstone in there. Having a billionaire backer would help too.

Wasn't it Bournemouth Redknapp was managing when he pinched Mark Newson off us for nothing? Bastards.
