Superbowl tonight - not that I will be watching it. Statistically, I believe, there is less action (as a percentage of total game time) than any other sport. As little as 20% in fact. All about stuffing your face and listening to absolute gobshite from the commentators. Want to watch, but have been disappointed too many times. As for proper football, as soon as players realise that refs will add on time (and maybe a bit more), then perhaps they will stop the play acting. Even so, we still only get about an hour's actual action out of a 90 minute game. If goalies are deliberately fannying about over goalkicks then award a free kick against them on the edge of the box. It will soon stop

I know I shouldn’t, but “investment” cracked me up. And being full time isn’t a disadvantage for everyone.

"...feature some inspired by hit shows such as Thunderbirds, Doctor Who or Top Gear."
Yeah, you're all right thanks, unless it's Jeremy Clarkson getting dunked into gunge for all eternity?

Need him there long term. Can't have him getting ill or anything. Gunge is just humiliating, so he can take it for a lot longer.

Interesting that they try and put a positive spin on it by presenting it as if they are giving an 'opportunity' to their creditors by turning their debt into shares. The reality is, creditors will feel they have no choice - if they all call in their debts, the company goes bust and they will end up with nothing. This way they might still end up with nothing if the company goes bust anyway, but it's a free hit at getting something back eventually if they don't. What a rotten shower of a business that is.
