Interesting that Nicky Southall tweeted that it took a while to get over the line, despite it being sorted in less than 48 hours from the request. Makes me wonder how long Stuart actually knew when he was going and if it explains his below par performances

He was a good player for us but was on a slight decline in the latter days in my opinion. Closes down people well and very good on the ball but he often made a lot of side ways passes when we offered nothing on the wing, rarely assisted the front men but he battled well despite our problems under JS this season and last. He's a workhorse and only that, I would of liked him to remain as a squad player had we signed better, shame he left because he had decent experience, more than enough for this league. He was our highest earner so money been freed up.

My own belief is that he knew he wanted out 24 hours after HW was made manager and Hessenwanker the hairy chimp probably wanted him at Eastleigh so it good fate for Lewis that he moved to the Crabble

Scored both goals for Tonbridge in their 2 - 0 win on Tuesday night He did. Pleased for him. If he plays teams of Sevenoaks standard week in week out, he’ll get 20 goals. I’m sure we struggled against Sevenoaks in a friendly this season didn’t we?

Maybe he wasn't happy with Jay going and/or Harry coming in and has been looking to get away since then. That would certainly explain his recent performances. He's a player whose game is basically to give 110% all the time, so if he can't do that because his heart is no longer in it, then his weaknesses become more apparent. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Dover.

Very nearly beat them too - that would have been one hell of a debut! I wish him all the best there, but I wish he'd played like that for us this season.

He obviously needed a new challenge He's certainly got one, 0 - 1 loss @ FC Halifax yesterday, team stuffed with past sell by date players scrambled together without imagination, only 33 away fans @ Halifax, 7 points from safety, roll your sleeves up & sort that out …….

It is a shame about Dover. If only they could stay up with Welling and Dartford getting promoted from NS then we could have 10 Kent Derbies each per season.
Might be some competition for the best local players mind you.

Dover have been playing above their natural level for years, they were bound to have to face reality eventually. Parmenter, like so many before him, thought if he could buy success, the crowds would come and Dover would magically morph into a self-sufficient, EFL club. Surprisingly, it didn't happen...

I know we beat Ebbsfleet away in the south division but overall our record against Kent clubs is pretty poor.

We get better away support from the bigger clubs, rather than the local ones.
