Get well soon Fleetphil I reckon Fleet could beat Tranmere. When Tranmere came to us they were very average before we imploded. Fleet on their day can beat anyone in this league. Would like to see how they cope in League 2 and we could also make use of a few of their players if they didn’t make the cut

I will do. Things like this have certainly put a damper on last night's celebrations. And it is occurrences like this that bring the entire football community together. latest is he is sitting up, chatting, having stents fitted and further tests. We all have our fingers crossed. I have been through this myself and one of the first games back for me was the play off final with Gravesend and Northfleet. When i survived that one i knew i was on the road to recovery. Good luck and best wishes to a fellow football fan.

Update from our forum. Phil has texted to say is due an exploratory heart op to establish what, if any damage he has. He is in good spirits . All of your good wishes have been passed to him, which I am sure he will be appreciative of.

I had a text from Phil this morning to say that he is recovering after his op. He said thank you to all the good wishes from us and that it is nice to see people coming together at such a time. I'm sure we are all looking forward to Phil being back on here soon.

Well, Phil must have been happy with their performance today, if not the final result.
Can't bring myself to say well done Gravesend, but...

At least you guys will get the chance to get payback after our double over you.😎😉 With Barnet back in the league, there are some cracking local games next year, with the promise of a lot of big gates.

Well done to those who went but, once again, it puts into perspective how good our support is. Should we ever be good enough to reach that sort of game I'd expect 800 to 1000 - similar to the Wrexham FA Cup game.

348 for a 1215 kick off 250 miles away with just 2 days notice to arrange ain't too bad all things considered

Hmmmm...such short memories. It wasn't so long ago we couldn't get 348 in total just 12 miles down the road.

I'm sure you are right nws but it's not really about memory loss.
For most supporters, our first hand experience of Stones only dates back to the club's return to the town.

And my willy's bigger than yours. Shame that was your interpretation. Tried very hard to celebrate what we've currently got and not knock someone else but obviously didn't succeed with everyone.
