Yes, our relationship with Palace has unearthed some good young players. Not seen much of Coker which is a pity, but what we have seen is 100% positive.

Good to see him moving forward with his career in a positive way. Would be great for the Stones to sign him. I get the impression that, in the short time he has been with Maidstone, he has built quite an affection for the club. So here's hoping.

Excellent news. He'll have seen what Pigs did, and can aspire to a similar career path. Let's hope that doesn't involve him leaving just as we get dependent on him...

Obviously it's not a done deal as there may be vultures looking to get him but he does talk about "we" and "next season" in the same sentence which suggests he will stay if the offer is right

You get the impression that the loanees do like the ambience at Maidstone, hence that affection, which is important if we want any of them to stay. Who is responsible for creating that atmosphere, I would ask madeinstone70 and the others who want Jay out?

If only ambience always meant success eh? Both are subjective. What do you personally mean by success?

If only ambience always meant success eh? Both are subjective. What do you personally mean by success? Ahah. Well, of course, that is all relative to the aims and desires set by each individual. So, good point. But considering we are talking about a competitive sport in a competitive set up where ambition should equal progress and lack of ambition normally equals the exact opposite then, subjectively, therein lies your answer. It was a generic thought but may have unintentionally touched on my personal aims and desires.

short term success for me, means the club getting a point on Saturday followed shortly by signing up some of those excellent loan players like Coker, Phillips, De Havilland and Finney 2 out of 4 wouldn't be bad, but 3 out of 4 would be excellent
suspect that we will be hearing of renewed signings very quickly after Chester, if we get some sort of result would be nice if we heard that the flair players like Turgott and Loza were to stay with us for next season

"short term success for me, means the club matching or bettering Woking's result on Saturday"
a draw on Saturday and a win for Woking against Guiseley brings it down to us potentially needing a point or sweat on better goal difference for the last game of the season. Short term success would be wrapping it up this weekend.

I believe Phillips is already a Stones player on contract and not on loan 🤔
