A great result yesterday ! It wasa shame that the official Imusc coach wasn't available, but I understand the reason now. Well done to those that made another long trip up there. Jay should definitely get the M.O.T.M award !!. Looking forward to next Saturday's game at home to Gateshead and hoping for another great atmosphere as well as a few more supporters coming to support their home town team. COYS. Not sure about Jay getting M.O.M. award, in my opinion I thought Seth played one of his best ever games for us yesterday, so he got my vote. But as I said it,s just my opinion.

It is possible, if a very unlikely set of results happen next Saturday, that we could be top of the table at 5pm.

We could even win again but slip down the table!
We're 7th on goals scored (a sentence I never expected to write a few weeks ago!), so to retain our play-off place, we need to win AND score more and concede fewer than both Halifax and Wrexham - and hope Woking don't give Fylde a biblical stuffing.
5th place is ours if we win by 4-0 and Bromley and Maidenhead only win by 1 goal. To get any higher, we need any (or all!) of Bromley, Maidenhead, Sutton, D&R, Dover and Aldershot to lose or draw (although the last two can only draw if we really thrash Gateshead!).
And for that to happen, we'd also need three of the bottom four (Guiseley, Solihull and Chester) to win.
But those three are at least at home...

Yeah but just watched the goals and it does not look like it was. Ok haven't seen yet, about time we had the rub of green I've been thinking that recently, whereas last season we spent most of the time bemoaning our luck (or refereeing errors), this season the luck seems to be going our way. Not that it will last all season, but we can enjoy it while it does.

Last season we were stuggling and obviously dropped into relegatino so maybe there is some weird link between confidence, not scoring well, and refereeing decisions.
Where is JDL when you need a statistical analysis...

Where is JDL when you need a statistical analysis... I think there's a simpler explanation. We're spending more time in the attacking third of the pitch so any 50/50 decisions that go against us are less likely to lead to goals against, whereas any 50/50 decisions in our favour are more likely to lead to goals for. All referees get occasional decisions wrong, some more than others, but they will always adversely affect poorer teams more than better ones. In addition to that, when you're playing well you're much less likely to be moaning at referees, and human nature being what it is they are more likely to be kindly disposed towards you.

Very logical and probably correct! Will we be seeing you suited and booted on MOTD?

Where is JDL when you need a statistical analysis... JDL is far too busy wondering what the hell "relegatino" is. Gillingham flavoured ice cream?
