Stuart fully deserves all his credit, but feel a bit sorry for the likes of Reece Presedge who has also been brilliant on loan for us. How about: : we've got Prestedge, Reece Prestedge..... Ah, now I know why we don't sing that one as not quite so pleasing a tune!

Agreed, Reece got my player of the season vote. He's such a smart player, always in the right place. He can make a pass and no messing when it's time to clear the decks. But there's even more to his game; I can vividly see him on the breakaway at Woking to set up Jamar for our way back into that game.
I actually think of the three current loanees (Lewis, Reece, Piggy) Reece and Piggy might be the hardest to replace, if necessary. So pleased we've kept Lewis - but I really want the others too.

I am in total agreement here, Stoneman. My memory is that marvellous win at Dagenham that seemed to signal were going to make a fight of things. He broke up absolutely everything they tried. Just constantly nicked the ball away. Pleased we have got Lewis. Would love to keep Prestedge. Piggot...I think people fail to see how much goes through him when the ball comes forward. Constantly offers himself to get the ball and then makes intelligent passes to bring others in or holds it up. My only criticism is how he can lose the ball by trying to make a pass that is too ambitious.

Agree 100% with NWS (shock horror) and stoneman. Reece was my vote as well. Just goes quietly and efficiently about his business and really steadied the sip in midfield. It's notable that in the games where Lewis was absent we still looked solid in the middle of the park. They made a good partnership and I hope we can keep that partnership together.

Fair enough Daveu, I also agree 100% with the nws post. Didn't stop me voting for Stuart Lewis as the supporters Player of the Season

Didn't stop me voting for Stuart Lewis as the supporters Player of the Season I wonder if supporters player of the year is sometimes as much about personality/engagement with the fans as it is about ability/influence on the team. Certainly Stewart was a much more outgoing character than Reece. I'm not saying an inferior player could win SPOY, but certainly if two players were of a similar ability, the more engaging and outgoing of the two would stand a greater chance of winning.

Perhaps there should be a Players' Supporter of the Year

Perhaps there should be a Players' Supporter of the Year To stay "keyboard fit" over the summer, perhaps a Supporters supporter of the year. Cue slings, arrows, daggers etc.

We could easily have a 'Biggest load of Bollocks spouted on a forum' award plenty of choices but Id give it to PMH for his/hers half a season input
