Good post to finish the Boreham Wood thread I feel?? Can we all focus on North Ferriby now.... A must win game.. Focus boys and girls focus! It's good psychology for NFU. Being angry is better than being morose, which would have been an understandable reaction after the second half. "Anger can be power." J Strummer.

As much as I don't agree with Boreham Woods policy it is their house so their rules. In terms of media policy if you don't like it don't pay like every other club. Just sounds rather hypocritical accepting the fee, paying it then bleating on about it. Same for regular punters, if £18 is too much don't go, I sure as hell didn't want to give them any of my money so didn't go.

Stones Live and Stones TV provide a valuable service for the many supporters who for various reasons are unable to travel to away matches. In reluctantly agreeing to pay the fee, the guys were merely showing their dedication to the excellent 'job' they do on a completely voluntary basis. Personally I think they handled it perfectly.

The point of contention for me is their reasoning for the fee. When Chester complained earlier in the season the official Boreham line was that since they (Chester) use a paid subscription service for their matchday coverage. However Stones live and Stones TV are free, volunteer-run services available to all, and as a result it would not be covered by BW's reasoning for the fee.

Wotsit was bang on the money. Simply don't go to their ground and pay them money. If one hundred and twenty five people had done that they would have lost more than they gained and got the message.

In fairness NWS he is right but I just go along to the games to support my club without getting too involved in the politics. So to me to stay away is not an option.
