We are terrible but I don't think our inconsistency is too much to get us relegated. We've shown we can beat decent sides when we play. The quality is there but just won't do it every game.

Two things really worrying from last night. Why,with 15 minutes left after going 3-1 down, did we play the ball around in our own half as if we were defending a lead? It wasn't till the last of those minutes we pushed higher up the pitch, and scored. Also, which is a more generic question aimed at other matches I've watched. Why do the centre backs, when they have the ball 10 yards from the half way line play it back to Worgs so he can only lunp it forward? Surely if there's not a good option available they can lump it but with more distance as they are further forward!!

well at least the supporters are unified in agreeing a p--- poor performance last night course it was all about the second half when we were about as poor as it is possible to be shame but have to put Ben's goal down as a fluke sure he's got it in his locker, but after scoring he was a waste of space for the next hour as for flish, don't us fans love him, but can't excuse a long run of poor performances ok, we played well in the first half and created chances but after that it was a mix of poor final ball and poor finishing simply not good enough, players have been given plenty of chances still Evans looks worthy of a longer run in the team Ach looks the part but needs to get fully match fit in the meantime, while he does, we leak goals - same goes for Driver another below par performance from Sweens - pity all in all, not looking forward to Saturday non attendance of season ticket holders will support an artificially high official attendance still reckon it will be season's lowest Saturday league attendance by a distance

Got to agree with most of your comments Nick, totally rotten in the 2nd half, and in fairness we could of played all night an we did not look like getting better. As for Saturday,s attendance did anyone know what last nights was, it was empty so not more than 6-700 I reckoned.

Last two home gates have been lower than our average ,with both totals put together . Let's face it if it wasn't for the season tickets holders gates would be much lower all season Last night I expected to see more as the general sale for Dover was on and you had to pay to get in to buy them ...hardly any one was tempted ...no interest there it seems most .

Must admit with 4000 capacity next season I won't be buying a season ticket whichever league we are in . Piss poor entertainment st the moment I'm afraid to say and the supporters are saying that with the gates.

Piss poor entertainment st the moment I'm afraid to say and the supporters are saying that with the gates. They're certainly not entertaining at the moment. Most of us accepted that this season would be difficult, but it's getting tedious now. You can accept a loss, due to good play by the opposition etc.... but to see the same mistakes, letting in loads of goals and here the same things from Jay (who must be soooo frustrated with 'em) over and over again. Will the new players make that huge difference? Hope so, but they might need a month to bed in fully, by which time, it could be too late. Still, I prefer a bad day watching Maidstone, than a good day at work! 👍

I think the attendance was 538 last night Cheers mate, I knew it was low didn,t think it was that low. People are starting to get fed up of the constant terrible performances. That's the lowest crowd we had for a proper competitive game (i dont count Ryman Cup or Kent Cup) since returning to Maidstone.

First half we played some good football and should of been 2 or 3 up at halftime, second half it was a different team absolutely rubbish! Evans played well, but Flisher was no where, in all the time I've seen him play that was one of his poorest, hardly won a header and where are his long throwins. This year was going to be a struggle but when they go behind their heads just drop, all teams that go up via play offs seam to struggle, but let's put some effort in, if they get knackered then put the subs on. It's hard for Jay to get players because they would sooner be full time than part time and get another job. It was easy to attract players before, but now money talks, hopefully we finish above the relegation places this year but it's going to be close. With all the money going to the stand and pitch we have to ride it out this year, then if we're still in this league then think about going full time.

If we lose at home to NFU we might as well already start planning for life in the lower division. There's no easy games in football it seems for us, and if we can't pick up points against teams in a similar predicament we are going to be up against it.
The issue is why we cannot perform on a regular basis. Against Rochdale at home we were awesome, so the ability is there. That brings in the equation in how effective Jay really is in motivating the squad, as they all raised their game against L1 oppo for their own reasons but collectively as a squad the enthusiasm is rock bottom. If we were losing 3-2 thrillers every week it could be a case of just bad luck due to some application being there, but the capitulation against BW yesterday is alarming.
It's all fine and well talking after a game about where you went wrong and what needs to be done, but anyone here can probably do that, it's about a culture change and it's not happening.
