I went into the Stag in the High Street the other evening and was told they had a 'no hat' rule. I, a 70yr old pensioner, was expected to remove my flat cap. I doubt I will be returning.
Smallest pub in the UK? That would be the 'Little Prince' in Margate's Old Market. Quaint! Room for three or four customers but space outside to drink.
Hat hair nightmare!
Project Blue was our 'pub' of choice when we first got married, and we carried on going there after starting a family. They were very welcoming of kids and it was a nice laid-back, friendly atmosphere. We often ate in there a well.
But when it became The Green Room, they wouldn't let us bring the kids in. Not much more than a year later it closed. I wonder why.
Nothing more than another of your tangential smokescreens.
