I'm fully aware of the coin toss process. Teams rarely change ends. Face it, you goofed up. Pray tell me O wise one - where did I "goof up"? "Teams rarely change ends"? They changed ends last night, they changed ends on Saturday and oh I can't be bothered. Your acceptance of defeat is noted.

Boring? right up your street then Jt, judging by your usual posts. Not a great fan of bullshit threads or posts that give it the I'm better than you as I sing/shout/cheer/stand etc etc ad infinitum. People will chose to support or follow their club in any way they see fit. If that means they want to moan and be negative then who cares. This goes in the same book as the crap about wandering to the dog and duck to watch on a field smothered with dog shit just after we went under. How does a negative atmosphere and players hearing their names criticised in a game from the stands help support the team JT? It can't, so fans that do that are biting their nose to spite their faces.

Quite agree it doesn't. The thing I'm getting at here is the nature of the first thread opener on this. We've had it before with people trying to be superior for trudging to ploughed field United. Now it's the I make more noise than you brigade. Personally I don't care if you've been to one game and moan like mad or used to support the original team in 1950 and sING loudest.
My point is we are all different so don't try and shoehorn people into what someone else thinks is a superior bunch. That would make for a boring world.

[ Im struggling to disagree with stone paper scissors, we should support no matter what and particularly at home. I do agree on your point about it is not about who supports the most, longest, in the exiled years etc but I maintain when we have games like the last 4 losses fans are needed even more than when we are doing ok. As such I predict a draw at best Saturday as the atmosphere at home is just not right at present. So who goes first? Do the team put in a stellar 5-0 performance to give us all something to cheer, or do the fans "do a Sutton" and spur the team on at every kick, touch, run made?

You just keep banging on about the same thing over and over again. Tell you what, you support the team in your way and let everyone else do it their way, then everybody's happy and we can concentrate on the team rather than all the infighting that you seem so keen on.

[ Think you'll find someone else started this thread / debate and I have merely responded on agreement. If boring don't join the debate. In the debate, on a forum, i am merely asking how being negative towards the team when playing bad is any way supportive and in the teams or supporters interests. Therefore the moaners who have nothing to say should say nothing at all. By the way I liked the way your hair flowed Tuesday night in the wind 😐

Message for Jt. Did I mention that my Great Uncle used to play for the Yorkshire Amateurs, but not before doing a 48 hour shift down the pit, cycling 24 miles to the ground, making his own hobnail boots, and all following a hearty breakfast of stale bread and dripping. Now that's real commitment.

It's true that the vocal support that we get at away games is superior to the one from our regular 2000 + crowds at home and the main reason is that the main stand however big it is is like a "library" filled with old foggeys too old to stand on their feet for 90 minutes ... Then they leave 10 minutes before the end of the games. They may argue with their leader ... DaveU that they pay for the privilege of seating there , but it would also be good to hear the roar that this stand could generate. We want to hear more singing from all around the ground ; when the Town End is in full voice , get in the spirit of it , sing and cheer likewise !!. On Tuesday night at Sutton , the true fans that made the hour or so journey up the M25 didn't stop singing even when we went 2-0 early on in the game. In the second half it was non stop and created another brilliant atmosphere in the ground. Let's start this afternoon and hear more vocal support from our home crowd. COYS ... 2-1 to the Stones today !!!.

The Main Stand probably brings in £250,000 a year plus corporate income.
Without the Main Stand we would be Cray Wanderers (no disrespect intended).
How is the typical atmosphere back in the Ryman South?

Main Stand made some noise today. Why does nobody ever criticise the riverside? Always nice to hear from fans of other clubs.
