Sadly, for you, Dave U has long since given up to my obvious superiority and jogged on. Actually I've just decided there's no point arguing with idiots. Possibly a backhanded compliment there to the people I still argue with Oh dear...same ol Ravy Davy....gets ragrolled and resorts to insults and abuse. If you are referring to me - your tormentor in chief for many years - as an idiot you have just paid a backhanded insult to yourself.

Sadly, for you, Dave U has long since given up to my obvious superiority and jogged on. You've both lost your mojos... Senna thinks he's the boss forum spammer - poor deluded lad. Ravy never had a mojo and I haven't lost a mojo merely any sparring partners of any decent intellect or quality.

Dave tends to talk about football and matches he attends (using his real name). There seems to be an inverse relationship among some mega posters, between number of posts and matches attended. If you are including me in that little post then I will point out that you have used a past tense and hence I would probably remain one of the top attendees by virtue of the fact that I never deserted Maidstone United in the County League years. In 2006, I saw 35 matches, involving a Maidstone United team, in August, September, October and November alone. If you wish to talk about the present then I will happily say I attend less and have lost interest a bit. However, my post rate on here is probably much lower. If you are not referring to me then disregard everything and carry on the baiting.

Indeed, the first 3 years were a non-event for me because news of Maidstone United in division 5 of county leagues didn't filter into the Newbury press. I think you will find you have made a bit of a boo-boo with the second half of your comment (at least you are on the right thread)because I was still attending matches from Rugby and Carlisle. Still, nice try though. When in Rugby I was probably attending more matches per season than you do now. Is this your admission that you have deserted the Stones currently?

Dave presses the 'missing years' button - and nws squirms! Face it, nws, no one doubts your loyalty and the years you devoted to standing on windswept touchlines suffering for the cause, but even I knew the Stones were still a going concern back then!. (And, yes, no doubt you will point out that I didn't bother watching them at all during those years (not strictly true), but that was my decision and not something I've ever denied or tried to excuse.)

Squirms? Merely explaining something is not squirming. If I were squirming about missing 3 years that I did not know about I would not have told Dave about missing them. I would have been astute enough to have kept that quiet. Just to point out that you knew Stones were a going concern in 1992 because you lived in Maidstone. As I pointed out in my post. I did not. Perhaps the link of where you lived in 1993-1996 and knowing about a localised event is too much for your tiny mind. The one thing that is true is that when I did find out I was at the game against Guru Nanak the next week. As you so correctly point out...you didn't bother. The manner in which you try to hide your desertion, glory boy guilt by making it obvious and then trying to pretend more superior supporters are in some way worse is noted and chuckled at.

Blimey, that's some pretty powerful non-squirming! Clearly you are not bothered by this at all... I knew about the Stones 'progress', not because I lived in Maidstone, but because I had been a dedicated supported for 10 years, home and away, and was still interested in the fate of the club, despite all the horrors I'd been through with it. That doesn't make me a 'superior supporter' - just an ordinary one. I didn't 'not bother', nor did I 'desert', I simply gave up. Maidstone meant so much to me and I'd given so much of myself to it, that when it all went pear-shaped, it left me bereft and devastated - I couldn't face what had happened to the thing I'd given 10 years of my life to, I not only gave up the Stones, I gave up football entirely for many years. I tried Invicta games, but it wasn't the same, in fact it was worse - to me it was a parody, a painful reminder of what I'd lost. Better to turn my back and try to forget, than to be forever reminded. I don't suppose the average fan will understand that, but perhaps some will. I envy those who reacted differently, who picked up the pieces and dug in and carried on, they were the true supporters and we should all be grateful to them for keeping the flame alive. But for me, it was all too painful, all too personal, I just couldn't do it. But, even in my darkest moments, I still knew what league the Stones were in and where they were playing!

What about the question in the opening thread, though? Two very different questions and I don't think JDL deserves his place in the biggest t**t category.

Anything he doesn't understand, or that's outside his limited vocabulary, or contains more than a few lines just wipes him out. If I were him I wouldn't be quite so public about admitting it though. Proud to be ignorant and stupid? We already have Senna for that.

Indeed...I should learn to be less bothered and non-squirming like you. It is great that you did manage to find your way back and it was so lucky for you that it coincided with a time when it was all good going and nearby. Just imagine if you'd made the decision to return when we were in need of as many supporters as we could muster and it was County and Kent League football and 15 miles away. What a personal disaster that would have been. I'm off to find my mojo
