I've never had any problems with the stewards, who mostly seem relaxed and friendly. As are the litter collectors, who are doing it for love of the club, rather than for money.

Can agree. Very impolite to me at the Bromley game, the guy on the door of the spitfire lounge. he was getting some grief from a fan at the start of the second half - from what I saw he was pretty calm while the guy was acting like a dick So you got to see danieljames then Edos

Can I just point out that it's 'too', not 'to' - as in 'too many', 'too much', etc. Thank you. And, while I'm at it - what's the situation now with bringing drinks into the ground? The first game we went to (pre-season), we were told we couldn't take drinks in and my daughter's bag was searched, but this has never happened again. We haven't tried to take in drinks since, but Tuesday they didn't have any Cokes, so I had to pay £1.70 for a bottle of the evil Pepsi, which everyone knows is the drink of the DEVIL! This is a step TOO far. I've noticed they're a little lax on that ruling now as well. Turned up only a couple of minutes late on Tuesday, large bag in tow, and some of the stewards were still outside, but not a single one of them made any attempt to check my bag.

Not today, have bought two bottles of water in to the ground every match I have ever taken my son to since returning home and never had an issue, now supposedly you can't bring in a bottle of water if it is over 500ml. I asked why a bottle of water over this volume would be dangerous but no reason could be given except for 'safety'. My 12 year old 'water weilding football hooligan' son will have to go without!

I have never had any problems with the stewards. I think they are pretty good actually. Compare them to the goons at Ebbsfleet !

I had a can of coke on the way to the game. It was empty by the time I got there, but I thought I'd try to take it in to test my theory (that they only bothered on the first day) and walked through with the can clearly visible. No one said anything!
Still perhaps they knew it was only a 330ml can...
