The Vice President Lounge looks down on everyone else as they delicately nibble on hot Lobster Thermidor whilst sipping the Moët & Chandon Dom Perignon White Gold through crystal flutes. The look down on the Amber Lounge as irritating nouveau arriviste’s.
The Amber Lounge look up to the Vice Presidents Lounge lusting after the Lobster and car parking place. They sullenly munch on their cold prawn sandwiches wondering where it all went wrong. The look down at the Stands and the whining elderly folk who constantly shout incoherent tactical nonsense towards the home dugout.
The Stands look up at the Amber Lounge (literally) and genuflect towards the Vice `president Lounge. The concentrate on sucking the filling out of their pre-packed Ham and Cheese sandwiches. They look down at the Springfield End and are mildly sympathetic to their plight of having half their standing area removed for away fans and their long walk to the toilets.
The Town End look up towards the Vice Presidents and Amber lounge as a far distant unobtainable Shangri La. They secretly lust for a stands seat, especially on a wet and rainy evening. They would like a hot pie but cannot face the long walk around the ground to get it. They look down at the Town End and despise their proximity to the bar, pie shop and toilets.
The Vice Presidents Lounge, Amber Lounge, Stands and Springfield End all look down at the Town End and wonder if there is a genetic anomaly being exhibited.
The Town End does not give a toss, they are all too busy singing, enjoying themselves, the football and attempting to drink the bar dry. The only thing they wave is two fingers at everyone else.

mekon, I think you may owe some royalties to the 1966 Frost Report, 'Class Sketch'.

"They secretly lust for a stands seat, especially on a wet and rainy evening."
Ha! Most stand seats get bloody wet when it rains, whereas the 'sheds' stay dry.
Where our seats are the rain has to come practically horizontally from behind the stand to avoid us - first serious downpour this season and we're back in the Town End!

Most look at the VP lounge and think pretentious knobs who wish secretly, they could buy some friends and enjoy a proper match day experience! ;-)

I don't give a ***** or two fingers, i occupy my spot in the town end with my pie and chips and want to see a decent game of footy. The ref can be the biggest K**b on the planet when he tugs it as long as the footy verdict is honest

He would probably be Black Balled by the members. The only way he is getting in is as the Assustant Wine Waitor or Junior Butler.

In fact I did just that a couple of seasons ago when the chairman of iMUSC was offered a non-exec seat on the board and a Ryman pass what would have not only got me in for free at home but away matches as well How can you be the head of a supporters club and accept a freebie that your members dont get? I'm sorry, but I'm better that that!

Tim works tirelessly for the supporters in arranging coaches and people start bandying character assassinations like this about.

I don't know Tim, but from what I know of him, I never doubted for one second that he wouldn't accept such an offer.

JDL - I took it as a humorous throw away comment, and it gave me the opportunity to publicise the integrity of iMUSC NWS - I keep reading your post but cant find the punch line!

If it is County League standard for too long I eventually lose a bit of interest. Senna will pick it up. He seems to be showing durability with his relentless clinging to a point. Good attributes.
