Don't know about top twelve, but Saturday 14th May 2016 is gonna take some beating. Best feeling after a football match ever. Add to that the win at Folkestone that kept us up, any trip to Crabble, Stevenage and Wrexham in the FA cup and Walton Casuals not only because it got us promoted, but also a fantastic riverside pub. On the other side of the coin I hate Margate cos it's a truly horrible ground and Tonbridge because every time I've been we seem to lose.

I quite like the end of the ground where the bar is. Anyway, if you were at 7th place on OB1's list that was a great day. Andy Martin was the man...

I wouldn't argue with those choices, I'll leave that to NWS. Not included (because you are no doubt too young) is the 1969 FA Cup match v Tonbridge, which has always topped my list, as we came back from 3 - 1 and 4 - 2 down to win 5 - 4. Although I now wonder if the Ebbsfleet match shouldn't take precedence for its heart-stopping drama. I disagree with your choices

Having not seen too many away games since reforming, my list would see a lot of the old club's fixtures pick any from thest:
Watford, Darlington or Sheff Utd in the FA Cup, an evening game at Sutton in the APL when my mate John and I upset the locals by sitting in their shoebox/stand, Boston Utd away in the FA trophy - we sat in the stand there too (an extra 20p as I remember) the locals weren't sure about us as we were wearing "their" black and amber colours! The Bob Lord Trophy final at Runcorn - my first ever away game, a midweek skive from work for that one! I seem to remember the tide appeared to be coming in on the Mersey, it was certainly a very soggy car park! Another evening trip to Bath City - nice cider, it would have been rude not to..... Away at Enfield when Barry Fry was doing his best to destroy the club. Me and John (again!) enquired if Barry would resign and he let rip with a screaming "Faaaarrrrrr***** oorrrffff!" that was subsequently reported in the KM as rebuffing the fans. Turning up at Rochdale, Halifax, Chesterfield, Scarborough, Hartlepool, Lincoln and Burnley in the old Div 4 to see who had made the long trip north - plus of course the more recent trips to Walton, Wrexham and Halifax. Can't remember a duff away game - even when we lost.

1. G*llingham - FA Cup 13.12.80. Has to be #1 because a win over the G*lls is always fanstastic! 2. Tooting - 02.04.11. 3-1 down with 10 men midway through 2nd half, but won 4-3. Stones Live! loved that one. 3. Halesowen - 11.10.08. 4-1. 3 fantastic goals just before half-time. 4. Walton Casuals - 28.04.07. My daughter who at that time only knew one Stones player (Ryan Royston) predicted a Stones win with him scoring. 5. Folkestone Invicta - 28.04.08. We stayed up while Folkestone were relegated. 6. Charlton - 13.12.80. Took the lead, and Flanagan and Hales fighting on the pitch. 7. Bedford - 27.10.12. Not expected to win there, but went 3-0 up. Had to hold on as Bedford came back late in the game. 8. Dulwich Hamlet - 18.02.12. The best 0-0 draw I've ever seen (I think). Freezing cold day and heavy rain, but good football by both sides. 9. North Leigh - 29.10.05. My first away game since we reformed, and a fine win it was. 10.Maidenhead - 15.09.15. Fantastic first half. 11.Peterborough - 19.08.09. Our first in the Football League 12.Stevenage - 09.11.14. Wonderful atmosphere.

I think this thread has moved on to "Can't remember a duff away game - even when we lost", so there's lots of scope there!
