I feel the complete opposite. I'd accept relegation and look forward to going back to a majority of those clubs. Shame about Torquay coming up but Truro... Truro!! Lovely place 😀😀 Accept relegation? Be careful a lot of people on these threads believe that makes you not a true supporter! Like you I accepted it under the dealer and even the caretakers - almost maybe as a good thing - until I recently looked at the clubs in that league and although I have a soft spot for the Hamlet and a couple of others I really don’t want us playing most of them compared to visits to JWW from the ex EFL clubs in NL or Bromley or Fleet. It just doesn’t compare so since listening to JS and HH since they arrived I’m now in the come on we’ve got to stay up camp! COYS!

I know that was tongue in cheek, but I couldn't give a flying fudge what ppl think of me mate; that is how I feel.
What I'm saying is if we do I won't be pissed off or angry. It will be disheartening yes but not a massive deal. We haven't deserved much this season it's been pretty crap and if JS and co can work their magic and keep us up then brilliant; but if not... oh well!
I like the grounds in the league below but that's because I'm used to watching us play teams like that. The big league places don't bother me a lot if I'm honest, hence not been to any! Only MK Dons in the fa cup and that was soulless.
I will say it time and time again I would rather us get relegated with a home, than be travelling 30+ miles to a home game.
In short, things could be a lot worse and people need to realise and stop moaning on.

But xpeople can't & will not. That's because the ones that moan like billio will just desert like they did in the 90s. They don't really care.

I think Woking are ok as a club, nothing against them at all. Decent club that try to do things the right way, with a good fan base.
As for Billericay I’d like to see them implode and see how many toys their to§§er of an owner then throws out of the pram. An ok club on the whole but with the biggest t**t of an owner there could ever be, and some new found plastic fans.

There's a massive difference between accepting relegation and thinking it's desirable. I find it hard to believe anyone actually wants relegation but I suspect most of us are resigned to it by now, which is the same as acceptance.

Most of us resigned to relegation daveu ? Well you can count yourself within that miserable band of defeatists. But there are still some of us with belief and hope that our new miracle working management team will get the club out of the mire. Shame you have mislaid your amber tinted specs, so much better posts when you wear them.

Quality of opposition I guess could be a factor for some fans but if thats the case then those fans could always travel to London an try the premier league clubs.

If the club intend to charge 15 quid next season in the South like Bill was implying (he mentioned if we want to stay in our current setup the prices will likely have to stay as they are now) I can see it putting a lot of people off. Its all well and good charging people that to watch the likes of Orient, Wrexham, Chesterfield, Hartlepool, Barnet, Dagenham etc.....teams people have actually heard of. But getting relegated and still charging 15 quid to watch potentially Dorking, Met Police, Concord, Chippenham etc?? sorry but our crowds will drop quite a bit if that's the plan.
You just need to look how our fan base react when we draw these type of teams in the trophy or the fa cup.......the crowd drops 800-900 or sometimes more.
Yes I will reluctantly pay it, but I already know some people who ain't keen on the idea of spending that type of money for regional football.

A not so random thought has just crossed my mind which I felt a desire to share, and that is: Why don't the owners and club management publically say more often how much they appreciate the free advice they get from this Forum? Not only can they tap in to an almost unlimited well of expert knowledge on players to sign or let go, whether they should be contracted or on loan, team selection, tactics but also how to invest mythical money, how to manage cash flow, marketing, communication and generally run a small to medium enterprise. We're all allowed to have and express our own opinions and that one might be mine.

What's the typical admission price in that league?
Torquay £13.
Truro £13.
Dartford £14.
Dulwich £12.
Woking £15.
Chelmsford £13.
Bath City £13.
Billericay £13.
Welling £12.
St Alban's £15.
Concord £12.
Wealdstone £13.
Thurrock £13.
Gloucester £unknown.
Hungerford £12.
Weston S M £12.
Chippenham £12.
Slough £13.
Oxford City £12.
Hemel £12.
Hampton £13.
£15 would put us at the top end of pricing. I wouldn't mind if it meant better players, but some might be put off.
