Bit too much gloating going on I think Personally I love the local rivalries that make for some great matches Easy enough to see Margate slipping away if they lose their backer But let's not pretend that would be good for Kent football

doesn't he sponsor the team too? assume if he leaves that won't be renewed either. All there eggs in one basket ? Artificiality inflated clubs are not good for football because this can and will always happen . We want strong rivals who attain there status through genuine growth

The worst run club in our league, Joke of a chairman, spunked 2 million on players, appoints a goalkeeper who hasn't got the balls to do the job, mickey mouse ground with portaloos and the fans "the enjoy the ride" types. Remember they are struggling with a top 5 budget, lot of football league players. Bob Laslett hasn't got a clue what he's got himself into...

What's happening at Margate looks like Bob is about to walk according to KOL Margate manager Nikki Bull's future uncertain as rumours persist that owner Bob Laslett is about to quit Hartsdown . well, have to feel for the gate supporters, not much love lost but still not nice to hear when this happens. however, there is another side to this too, which makes it annoying to say the least. if laslett does go, and margate end up in dissarray, it will be yet another boost to our rivals, sutton. after gosports troubles, and losing their keeper to ebbsfleet, ironically the week before they played each other, they lost a further 3 first team players the week before they played sutton. so sutton got to play a massively weakened gosport side, due to financial shenanigans. now it seems the same thing may happen at margate, who may end up losing some of their highly paid players in the coming weeks. as sutton are due to play them at hartsdown, it looks like it could be another severely weakened team that sutton get to play. kind of removes any sympathy i may have had for these clubs when i realise that it may have a direct effect on our title/play off chances.

I'd welcome Ladapo with open arms. Was on trial with Palace last week & scored a hat trick for Palace under 21s against Watford Id love for us to sign him but sadly it looks like hes destined for bigger things

OK Gate is a crap club and in one sense deserves what's coming But still a few die hard supporters who deserve better Another decent fixture we may not see again
