but it's a shame to lose a possible game-changer from the creative options when if we're serious about promotion we need all the different combinations possible to unlock games Maybe Jay plans to use the wages free'd up towards a better player [br Trust the manager. We are not 2nd on our promotion year by fluke or luck

Perched high on a tree top, with freezing nuts, is not all its cracked up to be
Also, really sorry to see Browny go, one of my favourite players. Leatherhead are going to have a seriously strong second half of the season

He looked a bit lightweight for conference south but gave us some good times in the ryman newbie years, sadly preferred on the bench, I wish him all the best. Legend!

I personally think he hasn't been given the opportunities that he deserves, especially now we aren't playing 2 up top He always gave 100% and as others have said has often changed games that looked like they were slipping away, Dulwich a couple of years ago and Margate last year to mention just 2! However, players come and players go so we have to accept Although for me he's the biggest loss for some time Good luck Alex and thanks

Looking at the players we have released in recent years very few have gone onto bigger better things . Brownie will do well at leatherhead but I can't see him playing at a higher level.

So right ob1. Jay Saunders is no players best mate As well as spotting talent to strengthen the team He is also very good at making tough decisions, that most fans would shy away from

I can't see him playing at a higher level. You said the same about him when we were in the Ryman South though.

My best memory of Browny has to be in the Stevenage replay when he came on as a sub. 10 seconds on the pitch, absolutely clatters a Stevenage midfielder, with no intention of winning the ball, and taking a yellow.

Brown was destined only to be a squad player for us. Jay liked him because he could slot in and do a job anywhere on the pitch, but with the talent we have in midfield he was never gonna get regular playing time in his favoured position. I get the impression we didn't really want him to go but recognised that he wanted to be playing regularly and did the right thing by the lad. Good luck Browny.

I can't see him playing at a higher level. You said the same about him when we were in the Ryman South though. Yes I did and as he was only a fringe player during the previous two seasons it's still uncertain if he could regularly achieve the high standards he did sometimes in cameo appearances. As expectations are much lower at leatherhead and if he is given a free role I now believe he will make a decent Rymans premier midtable midfielder but a Jack Paxman iam afraid he isn't.

So you were wrong about not being able to see him at a higher level than Ryman South, I hope and suspect you may be wrong this time as well.
