I thought we hated Beckenham? For a smaller team, quite a few clubs hate Beckenham. I know for a fact both Tonbridge and Ashford aren't fans... Disliked by Tonbridge i'm starting to warm to Beckenham.

Faversham have announced us haven't they? Also Sevenoaks apparently although I presume that will be a fringe / under 21 jobby. Wonder if any Football League clubs will grace our dangerous pitch for a showpiece game. Yes but no date confirmed RE: faversham friendly. Now, which side do I support

Wouldn't surprise me if we get 4 league clubs this summer... Would love one of them to be Gillingham, but just cant see that happening. The usual suspects Charlton,Dagenham maybe Brighton/Barnet.

A couple of years ago Bill told me we wouldn't get Gillingham because the police regard it as a category A game so would cost too much for a police presence.

I think the worry with having Gillingham at the Gallagher would be the proximity of the two clubs. Maidstone fans would fill it alone (and then some) obviously so we'd have to segregate for away fans. With the rivalry between the two clubs and how close they are to one another, as daveu said, it would demand a pretty hefty police presence. Easily not worth the effort for a pre-season friendly... I wonder if the same would apply to having the game at Priestfield? They're probably more suited for it, but how many Gills fans do you think would turn up to see a game against a non-league side? Don't think it would happen to be honest...

Brighton and Charlton aren't bad shouts. Would be great to get a few league sides down, purely for the occasion.
Who knows, eh? Any rumblings of when these will be announced? I'm away most of July so want to know what I can / can't attend...
