Panic buying forwards already in September because they're not top! Ha ha sad b*stards reposting your post on their forum, and he has the cheek to call you a numpty (numptie actually).

hello guys first things first, thanks for this odd obsession you've developed for us this season, only adds to the historical rivalry we've never had. As for shit views and HDP being shit, yes we agree which is why we are working on improving the ground which Laslett has pumped a lot off money in improving, which includes a new seated stand at the 'coffin end' so views won't be as bad as in the past. Speaking about Laslett, those off you who are saying that he will up and leave clearly haven't done their research on all the work he has done at Margate and how he has got the club running properly. Yes our attendances at the moment probably doesn't match the wage bill but we are already doubling what we getting last season, so add that to the fact that we are making a lot off money commercially, it appears that the business off Margate FC is getting stronger.
I'm shocked at one off your supporters hoping we go bankrupt, especially considering Maidstones own history, which includes being homeless for a number off years. Very similar with the demise off Margate
Anyway now that I've broadened the minds of a minority off your supporters, I am thoroughly looking forward to the game tomorrow night and I hope for a great game, great atmosphere and great banter with you guys, which will hopefully result in a win for Margate

The hitman is Tonbridge through and through. He has a point though, buying success is never sustainable in the long run so I suggest you enjoy it while you can.

Laslett is a proven shrewd businessman and it appears that he is trying to build a sustainable future. I think people seem to be just focusing on our on field problems where in truth our main improvements have been off field

Laslett is a proven shrewd businessman and it appears that he is trying to build a sustainable future. I think people seem to be just focusing on our on field problems where in truth our main improvements have been off field Hopefully for your club that first sentence is true. People are always fascinated by stories like 'businessman comes in on white horse to transform/save/rebuild club'. The weird Glazers, Abramovich's corruption, Michael Knighton antics, the Moroccan geezer at SaL isbury, the Dodgy Londoner at Hereford, Even if crowds go up to 1500 in Conference you will still be losing money so the real question, like for most clubs, is " will the (new) owner keep pumping in money"? Most clubs work in same way and it works fine until the owner gets bored or runs out of cash. Best of luck to you except this evening...

Well unless that ground has changed, you've got a decent terrace at the bar end, seating down one side portacabin the other and a few dead bodies down the far end! So yes I'd rather have the view we had with 3000 against sittingbourne on new years day a couple of years back!

View improved now by addition of 300 seats at opposite end of ground to the bar terrace.
Also additional beer hut at that end as well. More of a shed really. But it sells beer and you can drown your sorrows there after defeat at Hartsdown park.
Could go either way. Titles are not won in september......but bragging rights are!!!!!!
Come on you bluuuuuuuuues!!!!

Looking forward to tonight's game, weather looks perfect for football, cloudy but dry, 16 degrees and light wind. Ultimately how far a club can go up the ladder is dictated by the size of the local population and hence the size of the gates. Could see Margate getting gates around the 1000 mark at a higher level. Don't want to see any non-league clubs get into financial trouble, it's good to have local rivalries. Always want to win but tonight would probably be happy with a draw, let's make lots of noise tonight.

Is there parking at the ground or nearby? You can park on so many of the roads close to the ground that it shouldn't be a problem. There were ~800 there on the bank holiday last year and parking wasn't too bad at all and I don't imagine there will be any more than there were then.
