The Saturday fixture has been switched to Sunday 5th October, will be interesting to see what sort of attendance this brings.

"At the request of the Ryman League".
No reason for the request?

It'll be rearranged for a Tuesday fixture due to a 'waterlogged pitch'.

What a load of bollocks. Going to the Chelsea/Arsenal game. Why on earth has ours been changed?
Im guessing somebodies booked the ground on the Saturday then?
Its just like sharing at Sittingbourne!

Simple answer Snub the boring chelsea arsenal game Come to the mighty stones instead Sorted :-)
Would like to know the real reason for the switch Cant imagine someone can hire our ground and it would take priority over our first team games
Are all ryman fixtures shunted that saturday or just our one? I personally like the idea but wouldnt want too many switched

It's Yom Kippur on the Saturday, Fingate will be busy. Being only Sunday game around might be good for numbers.

"At the request of the Ryman League". No reason for the request? As someone said it is indeed Yom Kippur which is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Wingate's board are jewish hence the move. They made a request to the league before the fixtures came out but had to wait for a decision to be made. Although I confess to not having a religious bone in my body, I think this time I will say credit where it is due.

I'm ok with this as a 'one off' but our level of football is and always should be played on a Saturday and Tuesday/Wednesday!

As usual the religious mob want special consideration and expect everyone else to fall in with their wishes. Don't agree with this at all.
If it was for an important reason like TV schedules or something then I could understand it
