Bugger. It was just about the only bonus to turning 60! Bus pass? Heating bill paid? Meals on wheels? Bingo? Afternoon tea and dance? Mate, broaden your positive outlook.

Bugger. It was just about the only bonus to turning 60! Bus pass? Heating bill paid? Meals on wheels? Bingo? Afternoon tea and dance? Mate, broaden your positive outlook. Sadly no bus pass until 63 and a half, or whatever the state retirement age for women is for my age group (don't ask why the bus pass age for men has got anything to do with the state retirement age for women born in 1953, it just has!) ). I would love my heating bill to be paid, but there's not much chance of that happening. So far the only bonuses of being sixty (apart from most of ONE season getting into the Gallagher for £7!) have been 10% off at B&Q on Wednesdays and free prescriptions. The B&Q discount isn't much use as their prices are usually at least 10% more than others and the prescription thing is a bit of a mixed blessing, as you have to be ill to get any benefit from it! Basically, now that MUFC have reneged on their prices, if I stay well and continue to shop at places cheaper than B&Q, I have gained bugger all from being 60!

Hi JDL,
To be fair the club have NOT reneged on anything, they have just changed their pricing structure from last season. I have, however, sent you a PM with a bit more information on the issue

Just a bit of purple prose, Ant. I don't actually think it made sense anyway!
Have replied to your PM. Thanks for your efforts.
