Time up! Steve Butler took the most votes, with a draw for 2nd between Frank Ovard and Nathan Paul. I don't believe this. It has to be Nathan Paul. Ob1 is gona kick off and rightly so.

Hijacked vote from over the hill maybe? But seriously I don't remember Butler playing in his first spell but if he out votes Nathan despite his links with Gillingham he must have been one hell of a person and one hell of a player..

Sadly the likes of Nathan are hampered by the amount of people who saw him.
And yes, islandstone...the same for Aaron

Sadly the likes of Nathan are hampered by the amount of people who saw him. And yes, islandstone...the same for Aaron With Nath it was more about the sort of person he is rather then just ability. He simply loved the club and its fans there is no way I believe he would have joined our rivals. He is far to loyal for that and there are very few players like that another reason a testimonial would be richly deserved.

When I first started watching the Stones 80% of the squad would have been ex gills! of the current crop Collin, Brown Hill and Phillips are ex gills Plus Jay Saunders and Bill Williams, so what!

I'd rather remember the scenes he created with that hat-trick in the FA Cup Vs the Mangles. C'mon OB1, you can't say that didn't bring a smile to your face. Sod what he did at Gills - remember the good times with us or else you'll grow up as one of those bitter old main stand types & I know you aint that person.

Such a shame Stones don't appear on his Elite accademy CV even though he made more FL appearances for us compared with maybe 2 or 3 clubs that do.Best striker we've had by a mile though and his popluarity amongst the fans is understandable.Ive always been led to believe he was about as popular as a Fart in a lift amongst team mates ??
