I feel some bribery may be more effective. Or possibly some sort of persuasion could prove more....fruitful.
Have we unleashed nws on them yet?

It's simple really, the reality is the conference have not actually been asked the question, sure they had a vote etc but that was just a weak attempt at trying to show they have considered them.
The closest anybody has come to actually giving an answer was our successful appeal to play in the play offs, it's clear the conference are not going to simply announce one day they will allow 3G pitches.
It is down to us to ask the question of them, and we can only do that by winning the league or the play offs, and then letting them explain to us and the FA why a FIFA approved pitch is not allowed in their league. A pitch where there are no restrictions for us to compete in the greatest domestic club competition in the world, the same pitches are used in the top division of Scottish football, not to mention the rugby Aviva Premiership.
You really think "our member clubs don't want them" will stack up with the FA as a good enough reason?

Wales will play their opening Euro 2016 qualifier away to Andorra on a 3G artificial pitch.
The Football Association of Wales previously stated that the Andorran FA wanted the game to be played at the new national stadium, which is being built.
It has now been confirmed that the Euro 2016 qualifier will be played on a 3G surface.
