Looks like Lowestoft could end up in Conference North next season, with Vauxhall Motors have resigned from Conf North it looks like Oxford City will be reprieved and moved to Conference South and then Lowestoft will have to play in Conf North. There is a meeting on Wednesday at Wembley Stadium to decide which teams are to play in North and South Divsions

There is a meeting on Wednesday at Wembley Stadium to decide which teams are to play in North and South Divsions If they get put in Conf North they'll be playing the likes of Barrow, Harrogate and Altrincham, those 3 games in themselves are over a 1,000 miles round trip. The "glamour" trip to Stockport is still over 200 miles. Curtis, how far is Wealdstone's furthest trip?

Good luck to Lowestoft with their chances of being located in Skrill South rather than North. I guess that sometimes promotion comes at a cost!

Should Lowestoft find themselves in Conference North, can they decline the invitation of the Football Conference? Just wondering really, as if it is cost prohibitive as for some clubs like Vauxhall Motors etc they may wish to stay in the Ryman. This is of course, highly unlikely.

Crossed my mind, and I'm sure they could.
Chatham have been in a similar situation for the past couple of years

Maybe the difference for Lowestoft is that they do have a significant and loyal home following ( average home gate around 514 this year ), so it's not necessarily the cost of Conf North, just that the travelling is a pain in the arse.

Longest trip for Wealdstone will be 135 miles to Weston Super Mare,we will have significantly less travelling. No Lowestoft,Leiston or Bury is good news from a travelling viewpoint

With us being a Conference South club visits to Bury and Leiston wont be on our agenda as they remain in the Isthmian Premier and fingers crossed Lowestoft are put in Conference North substancially reducing our travel costs next season

Although of course you will be playing Ebbsfleet and Dartford. I see the Kingstonian manager has resigned, I assume it was a written resignation. Also Hornchurch have released 3 players because they played on Sundays as well.

It was only the Kent League after all.
