Calais obviously don't want to play away.

Very disappointing even if a dingy of fans came over would have been good Be a shame if our relationship with Calais RFC is damaged by this snub, I like Calais (but not much else of France tbh especially Paris lol) but hey we might be completely wrong and they change their mind, theirs still time COYS

True, let Calais finish their season before they need to sort a psf against a non league club in the uk. I think there is a spare date kept aside as said by another poster.

Chatham should be a regular to help subsidise their extra costs of being Ryman north. Still crazy that. Or are they r.south?

Chatham are yet again stuck in Ryman League North I'm afraid... Could have done with a nice money spinning friendly against the Stones to help pay those Dartford Crossing costs!!

they were due to be relegated from Ryman south a couple of years ago, but got moved across the Ryman north, i wonder if their ground is still not up to Ryman premier standard?

our pre season list doesn't really get you excited does it....thought the club might get a championship or divison 1 club down....don't think i'll be at many of them

I understand that the friendly list isn't very exciting but lets me honest nor are many of the friendlies. Pre-season is all about getting the players ready for the first league game, and for me, meeting up with friends that I'd not seen since April If that list gives us 3 points in mid August it will have served its purpose!

Some clubs rely on a decent/bigger name side, in a PSF to boost income.
I like to think that we are non -reliant ,on one offs and have a perfect sustainable income ,and business model not boosted by the visit of some Championship team's reserves and youth players ,which is what those games inevitably are.
