As a teenage Ob1 following QPR home and away I could never understand why everyone wasn't singing and shouting non stop for two hours every match. Now iam a little older and a little less fit it's not that easy but with a few beers I do my best but its time for our younger fans to step up it wasn't shit support just old support. ?

but you have to grasp, the most of us standing around you on Saturday are well past shouting, screaming and singing our way through a Saturday afternoon, now and then we may get excited for a few seconds, but then very quickly forget what we was shouting about to start off with, you never know next year we may employ a few more cheer leaders to get us going a bit more, but until then try and understand why the 150 of us went on Saturday, same as you, we went to support our side, we just do it a bit different then you would like???, to call our support shit is a tad harsh young man I am only speaking about my point of view as the younger generation (no disrespect). I am sure when you were younger and followed the Stones you sung your hearts out home and away. However, I'm not sure why it is, but it's only ever a handful of young ones who go to away games now with a majority of fans being older and the 'originals' who are passed their singing days (again no disrespect). So it is frustrating for people like me who want to get it going, but are unable to because people around do not want to join in. As much as I agree and validate your point, you must understand my point as you were once in my shoes I am sure Trolley . And an apology for regarding the support as 'shit', maybe the word 'old' suits best (disrespect intended) .

So you used to pee at half time? At what age did this change to "behind the stand during the game"?

When we are attacking the Town End this Saturday, I will come and stand with you have a sing song, Trig. If Shakes is there we will try and get things a bit more lively. As long as that Townend Phil and Pezza behave theirselves. EDIT: I do have a little bit of radio stuff to do so might get there immediately.

I am old but unlike Tim and Trolley appear younger rather than older so can get away with it. The only question I do have is whether I need to bring a whistle or not?

Plus it'll only be the two of you in there! Most tend to leave when NWS enters!

I have a Tonbridge Angels Conference South flag that I picked up cheap yesterday because the person in question was returning to supporting Gillingham after two years. He told me that the standard of football was no better but at least it wasn't pub league. Is that OK?

No offensive taken, I get your point about not to many under 25s make the away games , especially on the coach, this is very much an oldie domain, we have been doing it for years, and I guess you could almost call it a closed shop, we have certain un written rules , that we normally adhere to or police ourselves, hence for a young man we could appear like a boring bunch of old farts, but believe me we are having a bit of fun. Roll on the days where we can generate two coach loads of supporters, then the youngsters can carry on singing as much as they want with everyone joining in, and getting arrested at different service stations up and down the country,
