Ant you are aware that yesterday's referee was Elliot Kaye.
Fissenden just likes to annoy MUFC fans as that is what rocks his boat.

I was making comms about the continual string of decisions going against Maidstone, when commentating yesterday. I nearly compared the ref to the ref of Sittingbourne last year. Now I realise it was the same man. If he is down to referee us again I suggest we make strong complaints to the league because his performances in the two matches have been unbelievably and blatantly one-sided. Having said that I think we lost to Bognor who are a decent side and fully able to capitalise on our reluctance to attack them or pressure them. We did it after we scored and were close to cracking them. If only we had done it earlier. We can only blame ourselves for being too cautious for too long.

Spot on again Tim , though we both agree him and wardy are decent blokes what bloody good is that for winning promotion !! That tatically has to be the worse set up of the season yesterday. Don't lets hear that's all the players we had because he has known this for at least 6 months and bought in poor players last minute . Excuse book is empty signings been crap since Christmas and look at the result of it. If I'm not mistaken, both Rooney and Cox were post Christmas signings, neither of which I think could be described as 'crap'. Maybe the impact of some of the others has been somewhat disappointing though.

Just a suggestion, regardless of whos manager, use that pitch to OUR advantage, start passing the ball through the middle, keeping possession and stop humping it. Our league positions ok, weve won a cup, but Christ weve seen some dross, we could achieve so much more.

I suspect that would deliver not only a great spectacle but also a larger win percentage from our home games

Hoof ball should only be used as a last resort in football. It appears we use it as our first and only option, making some games this season unbearable and unattractive. As others have said, the 3G can be used to our advantage but we don't use it as advantage. We even train on the thing for god's sake, surely we can string a few passes together, Bognor showed how possible it is.

Yes I was joking How about this for the 'amber tints' Play football on the deck make watching a pleasure not a chore Then plan B hoof it in the last 10 if necessary

Regardless of decisions going for and against (Steve Watt was lucky to stay on) Bognor actually showed us how to use our very own 3G pitch.
No shame losing to a very good side.

The question is how Jay as our manager ? Bringing in and releasing players very hard to fault him here look at the players he has brought in, very few duff players but so many class ones especially since we been back home IMO 8/10 Motivating players and the side not bad but that great either to many games where we where far too slow starting games we almost needing to concede a goal before raising our game but on the plus side allways seems to finish games very well and we have scored many late goals IMO 5/10 Match tactics Jays weak point I think he seems to gets his tactics wrong more often then right other managers out think us and when are going wrong he never has a plan B IMO 3/10 If we were talking about a young player rather then a young manager some one would have said what about a loan spell in a lower league club to learn his trade but as we can't do this with managers a old wise number two sounds a very good idea to mould him into the manager we all want him to be..

Really, this is the chap who got us promoted last year, won us some silverware this year and has managed to bring in a good mixture of players during his time with the club, I am staggered people are questioning his abilities, we are bloody lucky to have him and thankfully his future is in the hands of the owners who obviously see something in him and not some supporters of this club, I may have only been coming to games since we moved back home but the attitude of some supporters is killing my love of the game, to be honest I am struggling to want to attend games as all I hear is people slagging of Jay or the players, I had it all game yesterday, and it's getting on my nerves, I accept that I may have the occasional moan but I try and support the team, we have a young manager and in all honesty a young team, has Jay made mistakes quite possibly but I believe he will learn from it, we need to accept we may not be going up this year, but what's the rush, I don't know about you but I enjoy chatting with the players after games, the higher we go through the leagues the less this will happen, let's get behind the lads for the last 2 games.....COYS

Highlights are here www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9avMlIQAB0 - Had plenty of chances, just couldn't finish. They dominated the first half but if we could have finished some of our chances it may have been a different game! As well as a possible penalty (video doesn't really help as there is a player in front)

The vast majority are, like you, faIthful fans who are right behind our club and team even if they don't always get it right.
