It's weird the way the other games keep going in our favour. The way we've played recently, especially away, we should have dropped out of the top 5 weeks ago, but here we are still hanging on to 3rd place.
An unexpected lifeline - but one which we have so far spectacularly failed to grasp! But, if only we can convert tonight's better performance into actual wins, especially against Bognor, we could still just make the play-offs.
But we do HAVE to start winning. We can't expect this unintended generosity to last - if we lose again, it would only take the two teams below us to win just once to knock us down to 5th, and then Kingstonian or Lowestoft could easily complete the job.
With the exception of Bognor, all our other opponents are in the bottom half of the table - so, even if we fail to beat Bognor, surely it's within our ability to win all our other remaining games?

Good going forward, giving away sloppy goals, same story most of the season! With two defenders on our coaching bench, why?

I urge everyone to watch the highlights as soon as they go up, the 3rd goal (as you probably heard on the commentary) really was something special

Is the problem the defending of the back four or do we not defend well as a team?

It's evident in the home games as well - for me it's a combination. Lack of communication and organisation (all over), and the lack of a genuine defensive/holding midfielder (anyone know the latest on Campbell?)
Really highlights how we're missing Watty...and Tim Olorunda

In a game that we didn't deserve to lose and in all honesty a game that Billericay didn't deserve to win, i suppose a point is a bonus, my only disappointment was the fact the defence just can't cope at the moment, everytime a team attack us, its a real heart in mouth moment and last night was no different, we don't seem able to tackle or close down the opposition, the 2nd goal we conceded was appalling and was probably the weakest back pass i have ever seen leaving Lee absolutely no chance, we did however show massive resolve and to get the score back to 3-2 with 15 minutes to go, we hoped in the crowd that we could hold on and claim the vital away win, however it wasn't meant to be as Billericay scored a equaliser in the 84th minute which in all honesty wasn't deserved but the defence parted like the Red Sea and gave the Billericay player a clear shot at goal. Highlights of the game were Mickey wanting to come back out of the tunnel at half time to 'talk' to some people and Lee's fantastic triple save at the start of the 2nd half. Really looking forward to watching the highlights

And that has not been our forte this season either, we struggle against the lower sides more than against the good ones...
