He has since tweeted that it is good news for us! The key phrase being "the FA board unanimously agreed to embrace"......

He has since tweeted that it is good news for us! Once we reach the Prem we can relay our plastic pitch.

Still reading the "rules are rules" "injuries" arguments....from those same people who suggested we have egg on our face....
The egg is about to be rapidly transferred....

There's nothing on the Express web site about this - and nothing about it anywhere else.

I quote "Maidstone, currently second in the Ryman League Premier, have been told they will not be allowed even to take part in the play-offs on April 29 unless this issue is resolved with the Conference. The FA are hoping that by taking a strong supporting lead it will help smooth the issue quickly enough to avoid a potential legal battle." That's answered it for me

Just to point out, there was never a suggestion that the Conference would making a statement or announcement.
Just that there would be an announcement regarding the use of 3g pitches in the conference. Seems to have been a little wide of the mark, but the knock on effects of the article can be expected

Legal action still needed, I fear, to force the issue in the Conference. FA action though very welcome, doesn't change anything about promotion.
