As you know, I wasn't really that impressed with Danny Lye earlier in the season, but he did well enough in the last few games to change my mind, and was even my choice for MOTM a couple of times. I can't comment on Dulwich away as I couldn't get off work early enough to go, but every one can have a bad game now and then. He wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, but he did well enough to deserve a chance and has presumably been retained by someone who knows far more about the game than you or I. As for Stubbsy, I don't really like him as a right back. He gets caught out of position a bit too much for my liking and it's a waste of his natural ability elsewhere on the field, and neither Stubbs or brown are strong enough in the air to fulfill the defensive midfield role ( all in my opinion of course ). Danny Lye may not be the quickest, but he's good in the air, and with a decent run of games his distribution improved and he didn't give away as many silly free kicks as earlier in the season.

Stubbsy gets caught out of position at right back because he is getting forward to try and play his natural attac king/creative game. I agree that he is a waste at right back.
I am not necessarily against Danny Lye becasue he did play reasonably well in the last few games but the reality is that he can only be a cover player if you have ambitions of winning a league/going up. He cannot realistically be a first choice. He will get caught out.
The Dulwich away game was an example of what we will face in the Prem. Danny got caught dwelling on the ball a few times, made a few misplaced passes and had a moment where he missed the ball completely. He nearly gifted them the chance of a second goal at one point. I think his thought processes and passing are generally OK but it's just that he plays the game at a slower pace than others and that is why he gets caught or rushed into misplaced passes.

This is the same Danny Lye that once played in the Conference? And also would it be the same one that spent most of his time in Ryman prem playing Centre Half behind a central midfield that changed on a regular basis and was barely up to Kent League standard? ?

I guess so.
