I wonder where Maidstone would stand in a legal case against the conference or the football league due to being denied promotion

With the possible closure of Whatmans springfield site, anyone got enough money to buy the site so we can have a 3G pitch to train on and a grass pitch next door, just a thought

Do the Football Association have any jurisdiction over the Football League? Thought they were two seperate entities and the FA forcing the FL to accept 3G pitches might be a non-starter? That might be the case, but the FA does have control over the Premier League. If that is what FL clubs are aspiring to and the FA forces the PL to accept 3G, then there is no reason why 3G shouldn't be allowed by the FL. And more clubs might then be in favour - having also seen the business sense).

Oliver Ash on Twitter says the 3G4US have invited the Conference Board to a formal meeting about 3G. The Non-league paper on Twitter says it is 'hopeful that 3G will be discussed at the Conference AGM'.
