On the pitch: Top half finish - more than likely Play offs - possible Champions - maybe a step too far but Whitehawk did it this season so you never know
Off the pitch: Some improvements to the ground as already stated, more toilets and catering, addition to town end capacity
Looking forward to it already!

I am expecting to win the league by a good few points, after a healthy input of funds to strengthen the team. I am also expecting stadium improvements to allow an average crowd of 2,800. Anything less is failure!

I think the bookies will have us among the favourites - along with Grays, Dulwich, Billericay, Hornchurch, Lowestoft and Wealdstone - odds shortening after a flurry of bets from Stones fans. Crowds will be about the same with no big increase in away support. I'll say 8th at the moment - but let's see who signs whom in the next couple of months. And we all love a cup run. Home to a conf side in 4Q or even get to the R1 proper, would be amazing.

We will make play-offs losing out on promotion next season but going up the following year. Would love to see some extra capacity but difficult to do anything worthwhile in the close season this time around. We will maintain attendances averaging 1850 COYS
Hope the bookies sight us at 25-1 or more to take the pressure off and let the boys play free of the pressure of this year. Also the distinct lack od derbies will help!

My expectations are:
1) after a defeat in a game that everyone expected us to win someone will start a thread calling for Jay's head, or questioning the quality/commitment of some player or other, or doubting the parentage, competence or honesty of the match officials
2) after the above, the forum police will remonstrate with said poster. This will not include a refutation of the argument, but will display incomprehension that a discussion forum can carry ill-considered ramblings and off-the-hoof pronouncements
3) people will still not be able to spot ironic posts and chants for what they are
4) several rumours will be started by people who claim to be "in the know". These will be unfounded and the product of hearsay, conjecture, or the work of an opposition supporter on a wind up
5) NWS will continue to argue about everything way beyond the point when any sane individual would have conceded the point or at least given up
7) I will still not be able to remember what point 6 is on any of my lists
8) some stuff about holding our own in the league, reaching the playoffs, blah, blah, blah

For me, priority has to be anything and everything that can get us positive publicity and show the FA that the 3G pitch is the way forward, freeing up our promotion path for the next couple of hops.
How about a few promotions from our academy side, schooled in the modern and professional facility that the 3G pitch has allowed us to nurture? Anyone in contention for the England Schoolboys setup, that we've previously had Chris Smalling, Ashley Ulph, Sam Morrison etc go on to?

A top 7/8 finish should be our aim! And see where we are come march if weve any chance of something better,It's a tough league a lot of people will see we've got promotion have a bit of money, get good gates and think it will be a walk in the park! Seeing as we've never finished the season in the top half of the Ryman premier that would be great! If we make the playoffs or anything better it would be great and a nice little cup run again beating a few higher league sides along the way! All depends on what business we do who comes in and who goes!

Russ you missed off
Number 9: people will say they don't care where we finish, they are just glad to be playing in Maidstone - until there is a bad performance on the pitch.
For me I agree we will make the play-offs. I also fully expect the Conference to allow our 3G pitch.

Doh!...too true, how could I have missed that one? As to your Conference expectation, I have long since abandoned any expectation that football authorities will act in a rational or logical way.

If Worgan and Collin sign then there's no reason why we can't compete at the top.
And if 25/1 is available anywhere I'll be on it, but would expect us to start at around 10s/12s

First priority is 50 points, shouls be enough to avoid the drop. And i would expect our strikers to make mincemeat of the opposition first couple of games befor getting injured

Same as every season for me, be 20 points clear at the top of the table by the Easter fixtures, or safely snuggled in mid table, Torquay away in the first round of the FA cup, and as for those play offs, no thank you..... ...
