Would love to see him here, hopefully the crowds & his mates here can sway him. Probably end up at Whitehawk/Brighton whatever.

He was supposedly the highest paid player over there, and if Whitehawk City are offering what has been rumoured then we've no chance - same with Collin unfortunately We'll probably end up with a local gk from another Kent club

I heard he wanted to leave Tonbridge because of the long away travel during the week in the BSS. He wanted games closer to home (Hastings). Going to Whitehawk would defeat that objective. But I suppose Lowestoft/Bury/Leiston away in a re-arranged Tuesday night fixture would be no different. Would the two extra away fixtures this season also be midweek games ?

On the Tonbridge forum they seem to think he is signing for us.

Again think he would be a fantastic signing but can we afford his wages or would he be prepared to take a wage cut!!

If we get Worgan it would be huge coup, without doubt the best keeper outside the pro game unfortunately his talent deserve a higher platform,

can we afford his wages or would he be prepared to take a wage cut!! With a couple of his best mates here, crowds of 1700 and a club (seemingly) on the up challenging for things, reduced travelling expenses I'm hoping he'd take a drop / we could match his current and wouldn't have to pay silly £. Obviously I'm been incredibly naive that some things are more important than money!

Yes the Tonbridge lot seem to think he is coming to us, it would be a fantastic signing and a true sign of intent, the only worry as people are mentioning is the money, there is this crazy idea going around other clubs that because we are getting big crowds we will pay big money on wages, which I know is an absolute nonsense, it depends on what he wants if he wants more money then he will be off to Brighton City or whatever the hell they are called now, if he wants to play in front of big crowds, there is nowhere better than Maidstone, I hope he signs I really do.

Interesting comment on there about the Frannie/Ade partnership as well...surely we can't get Worgan and Collin...can we?

Interesting comment on there about the Frannie/Ade partnership as well...surely we can't get Worgan and Collin...can we? I think it falls in to the bracket of my last post, if he wants the money he will go to Whitehawks/Brighton City, if he wants to play in front of big crowds then it's Maidstone

The more I think about it/reading between the lines/etc, I now reckon this one is a goer...

What's wrong with Charlie? I know I saw mostly highlights, but thought he was superb all season, when not injured. Great positioning, made things look much easier than they might have been very often.

He's 38 and had long spells out injured in both seasons he's been here.
