Anyone fancy Guernsey in the Ryman League Cup on a Tuesday night in the middle of November? Got a feeling knowing our luck that will be on the cards

How desperate Lowestoft must be feeling. Beaten in the play-offs for the 3rd season in a row and they were 2nd in the table.

Look on the bright side lads at least you will get the opportunity to see the Country and taste a few different brews !! Some people only get the chance for all the action while having to sit on a beach under the shade of a Coconut tree listening to Stones Live or watching edited video action for their sins !! Here is a question for you all. If you attend all the away games how many miles are you going to have to travel ?? To make it simple, forget about the ones when you get lost or the ones you have to divert to get to a Good Pub in the area! Enjoy the end of season party folks. A local Super Mart stocks English beer here so we will crackup and open a few Spitfires with you all.

Well, according to the Ryman website (where they have an excellent section that works out directions, distance and time from club to club) the total mileage (round trips) next season is 2505 miles.
The shortest trip (one way) is Cray Wanderers (36 mins) or Thurrock (32 mins) at 27 miles The longest trip (one way) is Lowestoft (2hr 38 mins) at 136 miles

Hi Rag. They all look like a very under optimistic estimates to me !! It used to take at least 30mins? to get to Bearsted in my day and , no, not walking Cray - Wonder where you are ? in 36 mins ?
Not on a M & D Supporters bus that's for sure. I bet if you go to all the away games next season that it will tot up to more than 2,505 miles! Not including Cup games of course - just to give you a chance to win a bet .! Regards to you all from a Scrubbs Lane Boy.
