What an effort, today they made it 3 wins in 3 days...but they still need another one tomorrow for promotion.
Good luck to them, shame we're heading out of the R1S if they come up though, what an away "day" that would have been

That would be an impressive jolly ;D Still it's a really lovely place, especially in the summer having spent a few family holidays there as well as dating a girl from there! It won't be long until they are at the same level as us.

Eghams win on Sat v Bedfont Sports means that they are this seasons Combined Counties champions regardless of any Guernsey results . I expect them to play in the Southern League next season . Guernsey will i imagine face another season in level five their championship chances killed by a good vase run and postponements . Maybe a plastic pitch would have helped

Egham have won the league but if Guernsey win tomorrow they get promoted as well thanks to their points per game compared with other runners up at level 5

Yes, extra clubs being promoted from step 5 this year due to league expansion at steps 3 and 4.

I would think they will end up in Southern S&W ! No, they applied for the Ryman South ages ago, same reason they were in the combined counties league - it is based on them travelling into Gatwick

Thought I'd come here for a mass response, does this make Guernsey vs Crawley Down Gatwick next season a local derby

I guess it's the nearest they're gonna get. Are they still gonna be paying for flights for visiting teams next year?

I saw a conversation on the Herne Bay official twitter account. It was suggesting, yes but didn't seem 100% certain (not that this really matters to you for next season of course)

You never know...Away on a Tuesday night in the league cup...I should think that might dampen the enthusiasm of even our most ardent travelling fans.

Yeah, I think it would. But of course, if you were to go to a Tuesday night league cup match, then you might manage to grab a cheeky pic with the Le Tissier's. Heather Watson supports them as well (how regularly she actually goes is another question). In fact, even there loyal supporters would be intriguing to speak to actually
