Aye, left a message saying I'm the Lord Mayor of Faversham and I'll be sending my chauffeur, a Mr Mack to collect my ticket

Supporter since we moved down here in 1979, season ticket holder for 10+ years, seen more away games than I can remember, regular all this season - but won't be at the game Saturday, as I couldn't get down to get a ticket until 9 tonight...
As I said on the other thread, I wonder how many of Saturday's glory hunters will be arsed to turn up for league games next season? And how many of them bothered to turn up Tuesday and cheer the lads on?
They should have given semi-final ticket holders priority at least.
Not happy.

Probably worked out why they suddenly got a load of calls! Or maybe they've closed for the night.

I can see where you are coming from and you weren't the only. There will be people there Saturday that have probably never been. Get a season ticket

If the club were a) selling tickets to non season ticket holders before 7 and b) selling more than one ticket to Each person in the queue I think this is wrong, given what they said on the website. I was there last night but I've been in London on business all day today and luckily, as a season ticket holder, a friend was able to get my ticket for me, however I had planned to go with my two sons ( who were at school today !) & get tickets for them this evening. They've both been to many games this season but as I don't want them normally to go to evening games due to school I didn't buy them season tickets
Amongst many others these are the sort of people who will miss out. If I think back to the time I first fell in love with this great club it was nights like Charlton, Gillingham etc in the cup when I was their sort of age. I am worried that our next generation will become disenfranchised if we can't get them into these sort of games.
I realise that the owners have put a lot of money in & I will be eternally grateful for that, however better planning for games like saturday would go a long way to making things better for the future of the club. I've thought all season that the ability of people to watch matches is not great (I'm 6ft 2in & I struggle to see what's going on from the stands behind the goals) and this just adds to the frustration for a lot of people.
Surely for a relatively low cost it would be possible to increase the capacity & improve the sight lines fron the stands behind the goals. I truly think that if the game last Night & on Saturday were not all ticket we would have welcomed at least a further 2-3 thousand extra fans to the two games. Just think of the extra revenue that would have brought in & what could be done with that money
If we do go up we are almost certain to have a number of games that push the limits of the ground capacity next year and I really feel the owners need to look at this if they are not already doing so

I think Dave might have hit the nail on the head on this one

I'm 60 in September, so I might very well get a ST then! (I assume they do cheaper ones for us oldsters?).
But what about membership? I'd definitely go for that if it gave you priority for tickets, but so would a lot of others. What would happen if a couple of thousand decided it was worth signing up in order to get tickets for the big games?!
You could even end up with more ST holders and members than the capacity of the ground - how would they allocated tickets then?

as a season ticket holder, I was there at 6 o'clock tonight and there were 2 guys in front of me trying to buy tickets, but they were told very clearly, that they were not available for general sale until 7, and they left empty handed...

I was there at about 6:30 and there were plenty of people waiting around but as far as I could see only ST holders were able to buy tickets at that stage.
