I seem to remember hearing somewhere that they had secured a big lottery/FA grant to fully develop Bayliss Avenue, including a 3G pitch. Anyone know any more?

As someone who sadly wont be able to be at any Play Off Final on Saturday as I've got someone else to be in North West London (wonder where that might be?) and as someone who watches a lot of football round Kent, I do think its unfair to slag Thamesmead off so much when you remember the amount of work that is going on at Bayliss Ave. Once its finished - which I was told on my last visit a couple off weeks ago it will be in a couple of weeks - the ground will be a great one to watch football in, and that the manager, who has been brilliant, and all the directors should be congratulated for not running before they can walk! You never know, you may well have to see for yourselves next season - if you do it will mean brilliant news for Kent football as we'll have two extra clubs in the Premier Division... Now that would be something to moan about!!!

Now that would be something to moan about!!! Too many Kent clubs makes it tougher for all of them. We all seem to take points off each other and non-kent clubs take advantage.
