The loyalty scheme is the most obvious method for future seasons. Maybe the problem won't be there then.

To be honest I don't think the club ever thought they would be in this position and I don't mean the play offs, the size of the crowds has been amazing and far exceeded everybodys expectations, I don't for one moment believe the club are happy to disappoint any fan of Maidstone but unfortunately due to the way the league gave decided to share the tickets some people will be disappointed, I think its amazing that we have to offer 600 tickets to the away team, it should be an average of their home attendance but again this isn't the fault of the management it's the league, I think it has already been mentioned but maybe next season non season ticket holders should be given a loyalty card which is stamped when people come to the home games and then those who have attended a certain number of games get priority. with the added bonus that (as I said earlier) they could also be used for cup games and maybe even prestige friendlies for the next pre-season.

Does anyone know how it works for "non paying" fans i.e. the under 11s? Do they automatically get let in? Turned away at gate as dad has ticket but they don't? If free entry with dad could double gate there and then! If have to have a ticket can dad get it with his (as could and should be at school monday and wednesday) or still 1 per person.. Very confusing. I agree with loyalty card. I have been to many home and away matches but work shift so can't make some games and also couldn't afford a season ticket but us supporters are forgot in the battle between "them and us" that seems to go on on this forum!

All I am saying is that most STH (season ticket holders)are just concerned about themselves, which is understandable but don't slag of the "newbies" and not STH as non carers for this club and with no rights to see the play offs as much as you (not you personally but you know what I mean). Without the non STH and newbies there be gates of around 400 ppl. So surely an extra 1200 on the gate is great for the club/players/supporters. At the end of the day (great footballing term :-) ) we all want to see the club go from strength to strength and with an extra ave of £1000 each home game we can build on it plus beer and food money. Who would have thought at the begaining of this season a FA Cup winner would be turning out for us.. Do you honestly think he would had he been playing in front of 400 STH only?

Cozstone, the newbies thing is a bit of a joke thing that some have tried to turn into something more sinister on here because they are that way inclined. If you start trying to make the them and us row that has ensued into something involving STH's it would get even more confusing (as there are oldies like me that are not STH's and newbies that are STH's). The funny thing is that after being slated to high heaven for poking a bit of fun at newbies I was at Dulwich doing silly chants with them. I think that angered the conspiracy theorists even further.
I think season ticket holders should get first dibs because they have put their money where their mouth is and paid up for the season. I would like to think that 15 years of standing in cow fields etc to keep the club alive might mean something to someone and those people might get something. These people are the ones who have put money or money and heart and soul into Maidstone United.
Next season we should operate a loyalty scheme to make sure we don't face this horrible problem again. Maybe we will increase ground capacity and it will be negated anyway

Totally agree with NWS.. STH should get 1st dibs as it would be at old Trafford or upton park. And contrary to the believe I'm not trying to start an argument just trying to say we should one big happy club.. STH,non STH, oldies, newbies, and future new newbies. It's taken a looooooong time to come home, lets embrace it not start a war. FYI I'm not a newbie, I have been around for the last 7 years or so ( Followed longer but at games since)...Even drove back from holidays to watch games then drove back (sad eh.. Lol) but have been to games with new guys that show just as much passion if not more as the old guys.. And not spending most the game in the club house!!

Spending most of the game in the club house was probably advisable for the last two or three seasons ;D

There is no under 11 ticket it's under 16s that pay so there won't be any non payers . I did hear bill say that ticketing would be a nightmare for this season but was looking into online ticketing if required from next season . You can't please everyone and there will be people missing out . If you want tickets for family members you will all have to queue like the rest
